Same water heater available on Amazon for just $500!!! Also I made the mistake of going there for repairs last year. I got talked into tires. Two days later I was to leave for a camping trip with my family at Mammoth Cave State Park. My son and grandchildren came from MA. I couldn't stay at the park because one of the new tires had a flat. I called McClains and was told maybe I ran over a nail. When I got back I went to another location to get it repaired. It was a loose valve stem. $52.00! They did the roof. What a mess they made. I had crap running down the side. I don't know how the got so much stuff blown around inside. And the seams are terrible. My new mechanic says I'll be lucky if the seams last a year now the rv is out is storage and especially since I'll be going to Florida. The weather is tough on the coast, wind, sun, thunderstorms! One of the issues was ALL the cabinets were falling apart. The RV is a keystone. Keystone reported that the glue was defective on models 2021-2023 and keystone took back all of the new models from this dealership. This dealer is selling RV's which have been recalled and they are selling them as Brand New at New prices!!! I went to the dealership to speak with the owner Adam Mitchell. He was not there and the manager put me on the phone with him, I like to see people in person when talking to them. So he (Adam) asked why I want to see him, I told him I am interested in an RV He asked which one, and then I came clean and said why I was really there. Adam said "you tried to fu$king bullshit me and get me to come there??" Um, that is not how an OWNER should talk to anyone. I was approached by his son, 22-27 yr old who drives a $90k plus Porsche. His son was unable to make any decisions and said I can have my brother come and talk to you. His brother pulls up in a Cadillac Escalade (another 90k plus vehicle) I basically told the brother He has only two options because it's been a year Either buy the camper back or we can settle this in court. They choose court On my ride home I get a call from a Royse city police officer telling me that I have a no trespass order against me filed by them. And that's the kind of people they are. Our experience with Campers 4 Rent was a disaster! The camper was dented and was in bad shape on…read morethe outside, the windows were broken and did not work well. We had to change two tires before we left the property then were nervous wrecks the entire trip hoping the tires would holdup. The interior was clean and in satisfactory shape. Once arriving at our destination the electrical would not work so we had no A/C. When we contacted the manager in Lewisville, he told us we had plugged the camper into an incorrect outlet and had blown the entire circuit for the unit. We told him we had not blown the circuits, that after we plugged the camper battery into a battery charger, we had 12 volt lights, the dvr and tv came on and the refrigerator was running. When we returned the camper both my husband and I asked the office manager if there was any additional paperwork we needed to sign and she said no, all was taken care of. Imagine our surprise when we discovered that at 8:00am the morning we returned the camper at 4:30p there had been an arbitrary charge of $500.00 made to our credit card. When my husband asked the gentleman why he had charged the card before he even had a chance to check out the camper, he told my husband "I could, so I did". We are currently disputing the charge with our credit card company and are gathering supporting documents to verify our dispute.
