The clothes in the store are also very Parisian - very chic, and only to be worn by attractive and thin women. There's no doubt that the store has a buyer with very good, very consistent taste - but is it Australia? Is it Manly? I think not... The prices are certainly like those in the Galaries Lafayette in Paris, or in the designer stores along Rue de Georges VII - at $500 plus, a dress from Lulu Loves Paris is certainly an investment. The sales staff are equally Parisien - chic, with perfect tans and long thin legs. However, unlike their notoriously snooty French counterparts, the girls in here are happy to help. Don't be fooled into thinking that they only sell sports clothes (although that would be a natural assumption to make, wouldn't it?). Instead, Sportsgirl has a wide range of dresses, tops, jackets, knitwear, skirts, pants, jeans and shorts for women. At first, the hustle and bustle of rummaging shoppers was quite overwhelming. I must've been standing there looking quite dazzled, because immediately a shop assistant came over and asked if I needed any help. As it so happened, I did, and she obligingly whisked me around the store, throwing various items of clothing over her shoulder for me to try on. She delivered me at the threshold of the changing rooms, before introducing me to her colleague, Tim, who would be my stylist. I'm not used to this level of immaculate service, especially from a high street store. Tim rushed to-and-fro, bringing me a whole load of tops and shorts to try on. He was refreshingly truthful about what looked good and what didn't (much more so than friends usually are) and even suggested other stores where I could find similar clothes. My Sportsgirl shopping experience was fantastic - fun, easy and I was taken very good care of. I'll definitely be going back.

Very mid-20th century focused. Size 16 can suit larger 16. It's definitely a reactive staff experience which does tend to be a theme in Australian retail stores. My eye was caught initially by the fantastical window display being painted by an afro wielding staff member. Every aspect of the shop was both quirky and feminine... From the carefully thought out visual merchandising to the smooth Jazz soundtrack. I spent some time in here trying on things and perusing the racks with the attentive help of two beautiful and charismatic sales assistants. Both I will add, impeccably dressed from head to toe. The designs are unique with a nod to bygone eras. The designer has obviously thought about the modern woman with styles and cuts suitable for a myriad of body types. The boutique also has an extensive collection of shoes and accessories to finish of the look. I left with a bundle of frocks in hand, a smile on my face and a rekindled love for Newtown and all it's quirkiness.

The racks are filled with cute but on-trend pieces, with plenty of quirky dresses, summer maxis and simple tops. Half my wardrobe probably comes from here now because it's such an easy shop to pop into on a lunch-break. (Damn you city stores and your tempting merchandise!) The prices are generally pretty good, and there are a few permanent sale racks down the back. Shopaholics beware. Go check it out, but don't say I didn't warn you...

The design is not too bad and updated style, and the price is very affordable. This Zara in Bondi Junction is quite large and good location which is just in front of the entrance. Everybody got to pass this store and many people think "well why not, just a minute and just have a look" They always updated items so if you see something you like, you grab it, otherwise it will be taken by someone else.

Drop crotches, mummy wraps, acid wash pinks, asymmetrical hems, magician sleeves, you don't have a name for it, these guys are doing it. Now I just need to find a Daddy Warbucks to fund my unholy spending urges.
