In the land of gas-n'-sips, Quick Chek is one of my local favorites. There aren't many of the located on Long Island and the primary reason I like it is they actually allow you to use the restroom (which is why I gave them a 4th star). There is a 7-Eleven on practically every block and very, very few allow you to use their restroom. So if you're on the road most of the day...... It's nice to stop in to use the facilities, grab a cup of coffee and be on your way. If you're in the mood for a sandwich....... If I could give this place no stars I would. I came to this quickchek as a pit stop during my lunch on 06/18 and decided to order a smoothie, the customer service was so poor and they barely paid any mind to me, which made me feel unwelcomed. While waiting, I visited the restroom and it was absolutely disgusting and smelled utterly awful... My smoothie was made so rushed barely blended and had chunks of ice in it. Even for a pit stop this place was a burden, 100% would not recommend coming here and shame on upper management for not taking proper control of the environment and looking after us clients. 0/5. read more

I go there fairly often. The food is pretty good, the merchandise is always fully stocked and the place is always clean. Despite a couple of bad apples that don't last (as is the case for all businesses), the staff is phenomenal. Especially Maya and Nells. read more

The positive: the morning staff is great, especially Gail that works the register (she is the sweetest and can brighten anyone's day). There is also a lady that works in the deli area that is very kind as well. The food is good, obsessed with the Portuguese buttered rolls, and the coffee is great! In the morning, they are pushing out a large assortment of flavored coffees(cinnamon coffee is my fave...please bring back chocolate pb)and they have the basic milk, half n half, almond milk, PLUS, they have flavored creamers as well. TIP: If you don't see the creamer/milk is out, or it is empty, you are allowed to grab what you need from the fridges where the merch is(I've been told by staff multiple times). They have a smaller selection of iced coffee and soda machines as well. They also have a really cool milkshake machine. The food you create and order on a touch screen, then pay at the register (the order is usually ready by the time you pay). You can also grab ready made items. They also have drinks, snacks, toiletries, car items, and clean bathrooms. They also have gas, vacuum, air for tires*(keep reading). Negative: -Night staff doesn't always have coffee available, and they aren't the happiest of people. I've been snapped at for asking for coffee (numerous times) which is odd. -always check your order upon picking it up, a lot of the staff messes up the sandwiches you order, seems to be too common. -the tire air machines are free, BUT, are broken more than they work. -gas prices are not the cheapest on that road. Just plain weird. Late night , Saturday and you'd think it would be crazy busy with stoner trash , lo- it was completely EMPTY. Weird. Placed my order, small mac & and cheese and a sandwich. My God. I cannot believe how LONG it took ! I was there for about 25 minutes.. just standing there. Nobody but me and the 2 workers....... My sandwich was pretty good as was the mac & cheese w/ jalapenos . This place must've really change since the other reviews about customer service I'm here multiple times a day especially at night and this is by far my Favorite quick-chek there are multiple employees there that are great however the three I normally come in contact with is NELLY he is the MVP of making shakes and sandwiches he literally goes out of his way to make it perfect and doesn't skimp on anything! Update: her name is Gail If I could give this place no stars- I would. A few days ago I was in here with a friend standing on line when I overheard the cashier being unnecessarily rude to a Hispanic man trying to pay for gas. He clearly couldn't speak English very well and kept saying "cinco" and the cashier very loudly humiliated him and tried to get him to say it English then proceeded to say "we're in America, speak English." She had no visible tattoos, hair was about shoulder length, and yes, she was white.. there were about 3 other people standing in line with me and we were all disgusted by this behavior. I loved coming here for the milkshakes and gas prices but if this employee isn't dealt with accordingly I will never bring my business here again nor will anyone I come in contact with. America is supposed to be a sanction and melting pot for people of all races, religions, and ethnicities. This behavior is not and shouldn't ever be accepted. Especially in a business. read more

Used to be an amazing gas station with very nice food. Since the price of the 6 inch heros was jacked from $3 to $5.75 I definately see many less food customers. The place is clean still.the workers friendly. Gas prices are good, but buy your food elsewhere. read more

So apparently if you want to buy tobacco products you need a DRIVERS LICENSE or PASSPORT. NO! REGULAR STATE ID WONT WORK according to the rude manager JACKIE. She said it was the New York State of law so my boyfriend checked the law and of corse she looked so stupid. I won't ever recommend this place. Absolutely terrible experience in here last night. The cashier yelled at me after getting what I wanted wrong. He was rushing me out of the store and I was the only person on line. After he finally got what I had originally asked for he rudely asked me for my id. I have worked customer service for over 10 years and this was an absolute abomination of customer service. Awesome place to go late night for a quick stop. They basically have everything you need! Great prices for drinks and food . Love the milkshake machine they have where you choose your own flavor and thickness! Only reason i didn't give it 5stars because the food isn't the most well prepared. Many choices of sandwiches but they literally throw the toppings into the bread because you can in-fact watch them make the sandwich in front of you but they don't even care where everything falls. Half the sandwich had meat and other side was all onions and lettuce. Its so poorly done but whatever i could try to piece together did taste good. This place is very scary and full of ghetto people. I waited for a long time last night to pick up food and a really weird man just kept talking to me about strange things as I waited by the register for the food. I did not want to talk to him but he was not leaving me alone and I was afraid if I walked away that he would have done something to my car in retaliation. Also I would have had to leave the order I had been waiting for. It should not have taken 30 minutes for the food to be prepared and I hate having to ask people a bunch of times if the food is almost done. There also were people in the store with toddlers really late at night and even a man walking around with a new born baby in his arms (not a stroller or even a blanket) at midnight. A baby being out of the house at midnight?!? The male cashier was very nice and walked me to my car because I was really freaked out by the man that would not stop talking to me and didn't want to walk outside alone. Came in to get a sandwich. They had social distancing lines on the floor and every customer and employee wore a mask, except for the guy making my sandwich. He had it below his nose.
