Not bad for a Quickly's! The place is relatively far from other asian malls, and took me quite a while to find. Once you go inside though, the place is HUGE, with lots of open space and seats, and a Crazy large menu on the wall. The folks who work there seem nice, and even though my simple drink took me a while, it did taste good. I also tried to get the spam musubi, which is on the "specials" section on the wall, so I thought this must be something customers request often. Turns out, it took them a LONG time to get the musubi out, and even then, when they gave it to me it was still wrapped in it's original plastic wraps. Felt kind of odd. TL;DR: Tasty food & drink, great service! We had a very large order delivered to our home through a delivery service. Unfortunately, it was missing one tea and one order of spam musubi (the two things we ordered two of). However, Andy at Quickly was super helpful and friendly. After we spoke on the phone -- first to find out where our order was (not the fault of Quickly -- we were waiting on the delivery person) -- and then to explain the order issue -- he personally dropped off the missing items from our order within about 20 minutes (and wearing a mask, which I also appreciated). This was wonderful, since one of us was sad that we did not get tea -- and suddenly got to have tea! Besides the great customer service, we all thoroughly enjoyed our drinks which included: Coconut milk tea with mango jelly (an excellent combo), several sweetness variations of Jasmine Milk Tea (my daughter got 50%, which was not very sweet but exactly what she wanted for her birthday!) Mango milk tea and honeydew milk tea. Yum! The popcorn chicken was spicy and crispy and delicious. Fried tofu was also flavorful and crispy! The mozzarella sticks were probably a poor choice for delivery because they were cold by the time they got to us (understandable) but we'll reheat them and it's hard to go wrong with a stick of melty fried cheese. Can't get enough of the popcorn chicken and fried tofu here. Seriously. We'll often buy several orders of each, go home, and crisp them up in the toaster oven. With some extra Chinese seasoned salt and pepper, it's unbeatable, crispy, satisfying and way easier than making it at home. We've also tried their wings (not bad) and their fried shrimp (also not bad), but every time I go in, I feel compelled to order the fried mushrooms and they never have them - they have never had them - not once. They're still on the menu, despite the fact that other unavailable things have been crossed off, so I don't know why they insist on teasing me with something I'm obviously never going to get to try. My opinion of this Quickly is probably slightly affected by my experience with my own local and totally fantastic Quickly location in Sacramento. I got a blueberry snow, which is my favorite, and the ice wasn't blended enough and there wasn't enough flavoring. After shopping at Joann's and Kohls, we decided to stop at this place for Almond Milk Tea with boba. There were other families there waiting for their orders, and we have frequented other Quickly locations before, so it was a no brainer. However, 30 minutes after drinking the Almond Milk Tea, I started having cramping and explosive d******a. We were now at Hobby Lobby in San Mateo and I thought I was going to die in the store. By evening, I was spending all my time on the toilet and my butt was in agony. It was still happening this morning too. I don't know what was different with the Almond Milk Tea that this location served, but it was definitely NOT the same as what the other locations serve. Maybe the boba or the milk was not fresh or of quality? Who know? I come here every time I'm at Woodside because it seems to be the only milk tea place within a 5 mile range. Anyway, I really like this place because: 1) The service is great, mostly because of the main Filipino guy. He is nice and accommodating on all accounts. One time we came during opening hours, but there was a sign that said closed until 7:50 PM. So around 8:30, we go back and curious I asked about the sign and the Filipino dude said he didn't want to serve customers because the store was a pig sty. I thought this showed a lot of initiative and was thoughtful in regards to customer safety/health. If he makes a mistake, he is apologetic and happily remakes your drink for you. His coworkers should really take notes. 2) They accept credit card. A boba place that accepts credit cards. This is as rare as a Mew is rare in Pokémon. 3) The tea is good. I don't remember my experiences here with the milk tea because I've just been ordering regular tea with egg pudding. Those are yummy. 4) Unlike all the other Quickly's (that I call Slowly's for their tortoise-like pace), this one is pretty... quick. Would come again. Lots to offer! Whenever I'm cravin boba I can always satisfy't here! They've so many choices that the possibilities are endless! I typically go for honeydew or lychee! If I start lookin at the menu then my imagination beginsta run a muck and I start to delay and confuse myself! I love that they seal the drinks so they're so easy Ta transport! I recently came to Quickly after it was recommended by a friend. She pointed out that this was a great shop for the exact reason of its name - it's not overly sweet like many of the competing boba shops! I went ahead with the Panda Jasmine Milk Tea. The tea flavor was solid. The sweetness level surprised me. I generally go for 50% sweet, but that here is closer to 25% at other shops. Definitely worth keeping in mind when you order! My kids and I also split an order of Popcorn Chicken and Curly Fries. This was really fresh and good! Wait time was short and the Chicken was perfectly cooked. And I can tell from the color and taste of the chicken they use good frequently changed oil to fried them. The portion size was reasonable, and it was convenient quick snack to enjoy while drinking our teas and chatting. I'll have to come back here next time and try some of the other snacks! First off, the cashier let me stand there for about 10 minutes before she even took my order. She knew I was there. Came here at 1PM on a Wednesday. Place was pretty quiet. Ordered Popcorn Chicken Bento and a bubble tea. The bubble tea was typical Quickly quality. It fulfills the craving, but by no measure was it a good bubble tea. It was a long wait to get my bento. Not at all "quickly" like advertised. Once I did get it, the quality was pretty blah. The chicken was more batter than chicken. It was also crazy chewy. I don't know what parts of the chicken were used, but they were probably the bad parts. There were also no greens in the bento: rice, two chewy gyoza, hard boiled egg, and chicken. The egg yolk was also SUPER salty. I was expecting just a regular braised egg but this was a salted egg. Don't know if that was intentional and that's why it worries me. The only redeeming quality of the bento was the quantity. There was plenty of chicken (which I ate less than half of... just couldn't finish eating all the batter) and plenty of rice. Relative to other Quickly shops, this place doesn't have that many food items. It seems like they just add those over time anyway. New flyer = new menu item. On the plus side, this place is a lot roomier than most other Quickly shops I've been in. The location was really odd though. If I wasn't at Jo-Ann fabric anyway, I don't think I would have bothered to come here. Mediocre bubble tea + crappy bento = 1 stars. read more

At the size of a nickel or smaller, I think it may be deep fried chicken skin...or scraps. This Quickly is actually in this extremely random strip mall located in Redwood City. Usually they are tucked away in Asian plazas, but not this one. I asked for tapioca but the cashier failed to tell me that they were actually out of large tapioca balls. She put in the small ones. I didn't realize this until after I had paid, and there was this hastily scribbled piece of paper on the counter that said that they were out of many toppings. This quickly is located in the same shopping plaza as dollar tree, L&L, Kohl's and Erik's deli. It is a convenient location and there's always plenty of parking. If I am here already picking up take out from L&L I'll usually stop by to get a boba tea too. I recommend getting the extra large boba with no ice (the tea is stored in a refrigerator so it is already cold, no need to water it down with ice) and 50% sweet. The q-pop chicken is pretty good too. Considering there aren't too many choices for boba tea in Redwood City, it is a decent choice. I wouldn't go out of my way to come here though but always happy that I stopped by. read more

Their drinks are okay, not that great and tend to be a bit bland. I ordered through door dash and when I got my order, we didn't receive any straws. Had to drink our drinks with whatever straws we had at home and eat our toppings with a spoon. Not only that, we ordered lobster balls, which in the image on doordash showed full sized lobster balls. When we got the order we got about half the amount of what was pictured because they cut each lobster ball in half and still charged full price. Their service is very slow ! Slow to order and slow to make orders. Also, their boba is definitely not the best I've had, either. Their drinks tend to be very watery and their pearls and jellies have this weird after taste to them. The tables are almost never clean and the floor is really sticky. I'd much rather go to Ocha in San Mateo or even La Sweet also in Redwood City. I enjoyed their egg puffs that they had here, however, which is one plus I guess. I've also had their Fried tofu over rice bowl and their Octopus Balls (I think it's called Takoyaki ?) and they were not satisfying whatsoever. It's pretty much the only boba place in RWC other than cha-time near Safeway. It's OK. The food is fried and inherently filled with lots of chemicals, but it's fast-food, can't ask for more. The older lady that works there is constantly asking you to put more into the drink. Asking "you want large size?" as if that's the only size available. Obviously to get you to pay more. If you order smoothies, she will ask "you want banana? It tastes better." of course, that's extra. Be specific about what you order. The drinks are extremely sweet. When I come to Quickly I usually just order the iced green tea, milk green tea and/or their popcorn chicken rice bowl. The tea is good for the price as it's usually cheaper than other milk tea shops. The popcorn chicken rice bowl always have generous chicken portions and I especially enjoy it with their sweet and sour sauce packets. Although you do have to wait a little bit for their hot food, they have seats for you as you wait. read more
