A retro looking bowling alley. The moment you walk in the door, you just smell a mouldy odour. They need to get rid of that. Also, they need to have stricter rules in the bathroom and invest in soap dispensers instead of squeeze bottles. You can smell cigarette smoke and 420 inside. How could you possibly let people do that inside...? As for the bowling, the lanes tend to often malfunction, my ball would usually get stuck in the back, and would require someone to get it for me. Sometimes, the pins would randomly fall in the gutter causing blockage. Most of the time, this makes the system miscalculate the points. Even though I know I am able to edit the score, it is frustrating. For these reasons, playing by the hour is highly NOT recommended as you would be spending more time asking for help than playing. I like the fact you are able to get yourself a membership. For people that come often, it is a great way to save. When you get your membership, they give you these coupons that you can only use before a certain period... and if you keep the part with your number... you can get a discount on your next purchase of an extra 50 or 100 games. However, the numbered part is renewed every year, so you eventually will be paying the full price of the membership... that is unless you play a lot... The reason I keep coming back is because Laurentien Lanes do not offer memberships. If they did, I would most likely go there instead.

At one time , St Jacques just below the railway tracks street had a questionable nightlife all on it's own. you can still see some remnants of the hotels , strip-clubs and bars today. That is if you look deep enough by the edge of the city. If you look deep enough you will see the famous rose bowl sign. Hidden away, like a bad secret by the edge of the city (St Jacques and Cavendish) No doubt an area of Montreal, where I was born and Baptised. Every once once in awhile, I like to rekindle my youth by visiting the ROSE BOWL . The bus stop remains to be there , however, if you got wheels take them. It remains to be as it was many years ago. Even the old pinball machines are there. Lots of lanes t chose from along with pretty damn cheap. Try it out ! go live back in time and learn to bowl . Like I need to relearn cause I struck out most rounds, unlike my buddy jeremy who hit over 100.

This is a huge bowling alley that has approximately 60 lanes (a mixture of large and small pin bowling lanes). The monitors are old school (pixelated) but still do the trick. There is a snack bar that isn't overpriced and there are arcade games, pool tables and basketball games. A fun place to bowl

The place was clean and everything worked well except for a collection of broken down games in the arcade.

I'm so glad I can go bowling again. Bowling is one of those activities I love to do but never get…read moreto do often because not a lot of people want to bowl. This place has lots of lanes and a lester's deli (closed when I visited but I've eaten there before and it's good!) They also have a special cosmo area where it's in the dark with glow in the dark and lasers, a very cool experience. Each lane comes with a tablet to choose the theme for your scores and to enter your names. It also starts the game off only once you click the start button which is great because sometimes there are mixups with the lanes so it's good to be able to start it when you want. The service at the moment is slower than usual as they are looking for staff. They also are cash only for the moment and there is an ATM inside for a fee. If you spend more than $50 you can pay by card but it's very cheap so I doubt you will reach $50 unless you pay for many people and games. For two games with shoe rentals it came down to $34. They also have cheap monday's and wednesday's.

After a really great Thursday my best friend and I decided to treat ourselves to a few games of…read morebowling and a pitcher of shock top. The place was dead when we walked in but within 10 minutes there was 30 lanes full and a line up at the bar. We wanted 3 games of cross bowling but the woman at the front who was new put our game on a man's lane who was bowling alone and had no idea what was going on with his tv poor guy. We asked someone else and they were able to set it up as we waited for our friend. As we finished one game I noticed the lights going off on the left lanes as it turned in to glow in the dark bowling. So 30 on the right were normal bowling night and then 50 on the left in glow in the dark and than there was us with a light on so I asked to be put in the dark and the owner moved us. It was really fun pretty cool how many still bowl I had no idea when ever I go it's dead. Nice to see They have a Lester's inside which makes great hot dogs and fries, in case you get hungry :)
