After speaking with numerous doctors in the Los Angeles area where I live, my research convinced me…read morethat my best option for my ankle issue was going to be Boston Sports and Biologics so I booked the flight to Boston from Los Angeles. Dr. Sussman performed a Tenex procedure on my right ankle for a Haglund Deformity/bone spur just a week ago and the healing process and results have been amazing. I had minor to moderate pain for just a few days but much less than I had expected. I have been able to return to normal activities in less than a week and the pain I lived with for more than a year due to the haglund deformity is gone. All of the other doctors in Southern California told me that Tenex was not an option and that my condition required an open surgery under general anesthesia and I would have many months of pain and healing. Dr Sussman performed the procedure in less than 15 minutes under local anesthesia, numbing the ankle area only. It was well worth the flight to Boston and back home to Los Angeles. I highly recommend Boston Sports and Biologics. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Dr Sussman is probably the premier physician in the country, if not the world, using this procedure.

We came to Dr Latzka and his team desperately looking for help and relief from a painful back…read moreinjury. My son is leaving back to college in one week and there was no way we could send him 4 hours away in this state. He was very pleasant and referred my son for an MRI and to another specialist for follow up just in case he needed more. We got the help of this office, we got the MRI right away and squeezed in right away to a specialist. We are on the mend and feel so much better for his return to school and completing his D1 track year. This was our first time to this office, Kim was so understanding with our urgency and did everything to get us in quickly. Grace you are exceptional, from the first phone call, all the way to the last 100th call and email in one day. The most helpful and courteous people I have ever interacted with. Thank you for all your patience, support and assistance. We will never forget it. We are so grateful to Dr Latzka and his exceptional team!

After I suffered a stress fracture in my hip, my doctor suggested I take a close look at my stride…read moreand gait to see if changing my run could prevent a similar injury in the future. She also suggested the Micheli Center based on some of the innovative things they had been doing. During my eight or so sessions at Micheli, I met with Jen and Dennis. Both were awesome, diligent, and we actually had fun! Over the course of about eight 30-minute sessions, they deconstructed my run and built it up again with new habits that created less impact on my body. It was amazing how the horrible form I had - complete with over stride, hip drop, and severe heel strike - was transformed by the training and exercises they provided for me over the course of 3 months. Thanks Micheli for completely changing my running game for the better!

The visit was OK, but I personally did not feel that we…read moreobtained any information that we would not have received through a traditional PT assessment (and that would have been covered by insurance). The doctor came and spent 5 minutes with my daughter and never physically touched her to assess her pain and injury. Overall, we left with some information, but the visit was disappointing. It was a ton of time and money...and we didn't feel like we got anything that couldn't have been obtained through either a traditional PT/orthopedic visit. Honestly, they spent so much time collecting measurements that it seemed more about the Children's Hospital research machine rather than patient care. We didn't even receive a traditional clinic note. We only received some pre-printed exercises from the trainer. All in all, I wouldn't do it again. I would save the 3.5 hours and $325.
