I have never personally used Esposito Landscaping, but my story has to do with how they treat…read morenon-customers. I was married to a woman, whom I separated from. After I moved out of the house, she called Esposito to have them landscape the property. She signed whatever contract with them, and they did the work. She conveniently did not pay them, since she had no income. She files for bankruptcy. A few years later, I get mail from an attorney, asking me to appear at some court hearing. I don't appear because I got the notice the day before I had a meeting in NYC. Months go by, and I get another letter from the same attorney. A thick envelope. I go through it, and have to fill out something called interrogatories. I call the attorney and he explains that I'm being sued for not paying Esposito landscaping. I told the guy that I had nothing to do with Esposito, and had never signed a contract with them. He didn't care. The interrogatories were asking for things such as my property, and vehicle ownerships, and other such items. I told them to go pound salt. Well another 3 or 4 months go by, and they send me other letters telling me that there's now a judgment against me. AND that I have to appear at a deposition. I told them that I was out of town on the date that they have the hearing, and that if I don't appear, that I'll be held in contempt of court. Now mind you, this is over a $1200 debt. In doing some research, companies don't go this far unless you owe them hundreds of thousands. They're coming after me for a $1200 job that isn't even mine. Don't ever use this company, if you don't intend to pay them. God forbid you're living with someone that uses them, and that person doesn't pay them. They'll come after you even if you've never heard of them. I think I'm going to go file against someone for nothing. It appears that in Westmoreland county, especially Murrysville, you can sue anyone for anything for no reason, and get a judgement against them.

They clearly knew the product was bad because they provided full refund but even the replacement plants are not in good shape. Mike is the person you deal with for issues with plants and he couldn't be more nasty. He even admitted to me they knowingly sold me hundreds of dollars of trees two days before they announced a 50% off everything sale and said wouldn't you do the same in your line of work. My boyfriend went in and the man he worked with was also miserable and nasty. I will add when I was waiting to check out there was a man in front of me returning everything he had purchased within a few days ago so there is a pattern here...I recommend Michael Brothers- lower prices, kinder staff and BETTER QUALITY!! They were punctual and got the project completed in the time we had been given at the start. The work done was thorough. They are true craftsmen.
