I always enjoy a good laugh. I previously messaged Yelp asking them to change the name of the Ideal Market to Quinn River Mercantile. The change happened several years ago. I even sent them a photo of the front of the store, reflecting the change. They refused to change it. Now, someone created a new listing under the Quinn name. Perfect! Boise has some of the best Basque chorizo found in the U.S. But ... it doesn't compare to Kenny's homemade chorizo found at this store. Very nice people, clean facility, very good gas prices (Chevron). For a small store, they have a reasonable selection of merchandise. Tesla owners will be happy to know they can get charged up there, get a sufficient charge to get them to Winnemucca, anyway. read more

My husband and I are on our annual Road Trip. A good friend of ours told us about the 'Chicken Fingers' they sold at this place so we had to stop in. My husband went in to see if this was the right spot and it was. Within minutes he came out with 3 Huge Chicken 'Fingers' !!! They truly are Delicious !! Our friend was right ! This is a clean, friendly and well provisioned mercantile (and Chevron station) on a long lonely stretch of U.S. Route 95 in Nevada.

Rude rude rude I wish I could give them a minus one on the reviews. The cashier only seemed to be 19 or 20 years old but was so arrogant so rude so unwelcoming. When I thanked her for being Covid safe after putting my change some 7 feet away from the cash register when I was checking out, she said "I'm not being Covid safe I just don't like people in my space" with a very rude tone and then a woman that looked to be may be her mother or sister up in the office started laughing. It was so bizarre. I was warned not to stop here because of the rudeness and I assure you I will never stop again. read more

we just stopped in at this store to pick up a couple things after a long drive. A lady was walking out with her own thermos cups after she had purchased several items from the store and the worker behind the poultry counter yelled at her saying she needed to pay for her ice that she put in her cup. The customer stated she had just purchased several things and she just had a little bit of ice to take with her. the girl proceeded to badger her about paying for the ice that she took and even called her "cheap" and saying "it's not my fault you're cheap. we don't work for free around here". The lady ended up dumping out the ice and leaving. The employees in the store continued to talk about this long after the lady was gone. Poor taste, tacky and very disrespectful to all customers who witnessed this. A good business practice is to be considerate, accommodating and think outside the box. this young girl / employee definitely needs a lesson in all of that read more
