Extremely Disappointing Experience - Do Not Host Your Event at Quinn's at JW Marriott Marco Island** I am compelled to share my extremely disappointing experience hosting my daughter's wedding reception at Quinn's on the Beach, located at the JW Marriott Marco Island. What should have been a joyful and memorable evening was marred by disorganized service, poor management, and a complete failure to deliver on contracted agreements. From the very beginning of the event, the service was unacceptable. Appetizers were barely circulated, and guests were told that certain selections--such as the fried calamari--had run out early in the evening. Shockingly, the waitstaff focused their attention on a single guest table while completely neglecting the bride's table and her immediate family, despite the fact that we--her parents--were hosting and funding the event. There was a nearly one-hour delay between appetizers and entrées, and the food that was eventually served did not match the custom menu we had selected and paid for. Even worse, I paid extra per guest for premium upgrades that were not provided. These were not minor oversights--they were significant contractual breaches. One of the most distressing issues was the complete disregard for the dietary needs of my young grandson, who has multiple food allergies. I had worked closely with the staff in advance to ensure he would receive a safe and inclusive meal, including a special dessert. Despite this being clearly outlined in our agreement, they failed to provide it. This kind of negligence is unacceptable and potentially dangerous. When I brought my concerns to the chef, he informed me that under normal protocol, the restaurant stops accepting regular diners during private events like ours in order to focus solely on the wedding. However, he stated that the manager had disregarded this and continued taking in additional restaurant guests, severely compromising our service. The event was a complete letdown and an embarrassment in front of our family and friends. The incompetence and lack of accountability displayed by the management at Quinn's was appalling. I will be submitting a formal complaint to Marriott Corporate and strongly advise anyone considering Quinn's for a private event to look elsewhere. **Do not plan your wedding or any important occasion at Quinn's at JW Marriott Marco Island.** They do not honor their commitments, and the lack of professionalism could ruin your special event. read more

[[HIGHLIGHT]]It is a beautiful hotel with a lot of amenities but that does not warrant the higher prices for the limited menu items or their drinks.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My wife had the Pear and Walnut salad and I had the blackened Mahi tacos.  My wife said the salad was delicious ($12.00) but my Mahi tacos (3) were very dry even though they included an aioli sauce and they definitely were not worth $25.00.  Additional items such as my wife's root beer was $7.00 and my draft IPA was $10.00.  Resort prices at Marco Island for meals and drinks are higher than expected; however they are severely overpriced at the JW Marriott hotel.  We spend a month in Hawaii every year and if I was to make a comparison then I would have to say that our time in Hawaii is a better experience and our cost for meals and drinks are significantly more reasonable. We do like the JW Marriott hotel and Marco Island but would like less exploitation of the prices for meals, drinks, etc., especially when the quality does not warrant the expense. The Grouper sandwich here is very good, i got it blackened and it tasted fantastic. The Grouper was cooked perfectly and very tender. The fries were decent but mostly all broken in half. The service was little scrambled but handled the busy crowd of consumers pretty good. The food is mid and pricey but we expected it for being on a resort. The view was impeccable and the best part of it. We decided to put the bill on our room since we were staying there. The bill after too and tax was about $100 for my fiancee and I. When we checked out they told us they would send us our bill for the weekend via email. We were traveling so didn't see it for a couple days after. When we saw it, it was almost over $100 what we had spend over the weekend. After calling to get a price breakdown of everything we spent that weekend we found out the server had changed the tipped to $95. This is crazy and so unethical! read more

After a long day at the beach, we came across Quinn's and decided to stop by for lunch. Loved the atmosphere of this restaurant. They had live music going on, plenty of seating outside and my favorite... you can be in your bikini, no need to change clothing. I ordered the Cobb Salad and it was great. I was very surprised at how large the portion was. The salad was very fresh and delicious. My family also ordered burgers which they said were also very good. The service was great. Our server was very fast and got us everything we needed/wanted within a couple of minutes. I'll be coming back to this restaurant again! read more

Quinns is a beach bar with an AMAZING view. Drinks are expensive, and you are limited in what you can order....(whoever heard of THAT for a beach bar??...) The menu is sparse and casual...and the food was disappointing. My soup arrived cold...Our total bill with tip ended up being $220. This included 4 drinks, a fish sandwhich and grouper bites. Oh...and the parking fee was another $25!!. I have been in town long enough to know that same amount could have paid for 2 nights out with my husband...and enjoyed them far more!! If you are a guest here at a business sponsored (and paid for) event, you will be satisifed. If you are visiting Marco- there is a vast selection of other restauraunts who offer happy hour prices, include the beautiful sunset and serve food that makes you want to return. Came here twice for lunch while staying at the JW Marriott. Both times I had the peel and eat shrimp. Large shrimp cooked in old bay seasoning. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. For 26 bucks these are a steal. I live on the east coast where 4 small shrimp cocktail costs 20 bucks. We also tried the mahi tacos which were very good. The restaurant is close to the family pool and sits right on the beach with an outdoor patio. Service was friendly and efficient both times we were there. read more

We had high hopes for this restaurant but was very disappointed. The ambiance was nice; however, it took almost an hour to receive our food. When we did, almost half was cold. I ordered the baby clam spaghettini that had a description of white wine, butter, garlic, and Parmesan cheese: I was very disappointed when it turned into spaghetti with Alfredo sauce and 5 baby clams. Quinn's on the Beach is a casual waterfront bar and grill located inside the JW Marriott in Marco Island. It was a great spot for lunch and afternoon drinks during our stay at this great resort. They offer table and pool side service. I heard they used to have a fire dance show by the sand but it was suspended due to Covid. The menu was also limited due to this situation but everything we ordered was delicious. We enjoyed the jerk chicken wings with blue cheese dip and celery ($15) and blackened grouper sandwich with fries ($22). For drinks, we we really liked the piña coladas ($14) with a rum floater. I have to say it is worth paying the extra charge for a floater on this drink because it really made it just right. I also enjoyed a nice glass of chilled white wine ($14), Sonoma-Crutier Chardonnay, a very nice selection. We visited this grill several times during our stay because we enjoyed it so much. Even when the food was delivered to us by the pool in takeout boxes, it was beautifully placed inside the box and served warm. Wings were full of flavor and spice accompanied by a creamy blue cheese dip that had big chunks of actual blue cheese inside. Scrumptious! These can easily be one of the most delicious wings I ever had. The blackened grouper was nicely cooked and the flavors worked well together in this sandwich. The fries were crispy and tasty, not soggy at all. It was a great place to relax during the afternoons, lay back in the pool and enjoy some refreshing cocktails and delicious quick bites. The staff was friendly, quick and attentive. It was what I expected from a restaurant by the pool in a nice resort. I only wished they had some music playing by the pool to make it more fun. The tacos were so light and flavorful especially for a meal when you're spending the day in the sun. It was the perfect lunch for our day spent poolside! Came here for a late dinner with the fam. Our server was amazing. She loved the kids and treated them really well. Our service was beyond our expectations, according to my daughter (future helper) the service was AWESOME. Food came in on time and quick! Our server brought us some chips on guac/cheese on the house which tasted excellent! We ordered fish and beef tacos which didn't taste all that great to be honest, which is why I knocked down a star. But other than that, great experience coming here while staying at the Marriot. The server even brought ice creams for the kids on the house when we were leaving. Again the service was excellent but the food meh. I wouldn't come here again if I was staying at the hotel only because the food needs a little more spice to it in my opinion. We were able to get an outside table. They do not serve coffee, Waitress blamed it on hurricane Ian . The Hurricane was last year They could not blacken the chicken on my Caesar salad. Diet Coke comes to your table in a can. No follow up from waitress on having a 2nd Diet Coke. My wife asked to have Swiss cheese on her burger. Waitress said they don't have Swiss cheese. Figure $30+ for lunch per person no beer or wine. Nothing special about this restaurant. Once and done. We are local to SW Fl. Tourist may rate this higher. Located directly on the beach we were able to watch a beautiful sunset The food was good and as one would expect you pay a premium for hotel restaurants especially one on the beach. I'm not usually a big fan of hotel restaurants and generally try to steer clear (unless staying at the hotel) but I was pleasantly surprised by the food at Quinn's on the Beach. It was a beautiful January day and a group of 8 of us arrived early to snag a table along the edge of the beach so as to enjoy the sunset and the nightly Polynesian fire twirler show (about 10 minutes, begins at sunset). Food-wise Quinn's features the typical bar food-burgers, wraps, tacos and salads along with some tropical drinks. I enjoyed the carnitas tacos (loaded with seasoned pork, slaw and served with a salsa verde). The crispy grouper tacos, grouper sandwich and coconut shrimp were also enjoyed by our group. Drinks were fine but seemed pretty generic-my Margarita was clearly a mix and all the drinks were served in plastic cups due to proximity to pool and beach. The fire twirler show was a nice touch but a pale comparison to the big shows in Hawaii. He performs on the beach right in front of the restaurant or you can watch him from the beach whether or not you are dining there. I've been to Quinn's so many times. I always get the the grouper sandwich lightly blackened (I get heartburn now) with extra coleslaw. I'm not a coleslaw person but I like their coleslaw. If you got time to spare, go early like 5pm for dinner or go after sunset when the fire dancer finishes his performance if you don't want to wait for a table. read more

I've been here three separate times on two trips within two years. Both times I have to say that I am impressed with the quality and presentation of their food. I most recently tried their grouper tacos - lightly fried, bursting with flavor, hearty serving of grouper. I've previously tries two of their salads which are, quite honestly, some of the best salads I've ever had of those types. The kale and quinoa salad is very hearty but I must say, if you aren't used to eating those types of ingredients, make sure you invest in some gas-x. All in all, Quinn's seems like your typical overpriced resort hotel restaurant. And while it is, at heart, management does seem to value itself enough to offer great tasting food, a fantastic view of the beach, and cordial service. I don't have any major complaints. read more
