The place has a long history and carries sentimental value for a lot of locals. Sadly the place is only average in terms of the quality of the food/ice cream. When it is busy, the wait (after placing your order) can become pretty ridiculous. I wouldn't avoid it altogether as it is in such a convenient location l, but it's definitely not a must-visit place either.
