Just five-ten minutes north of Stege, you drive over a one-at-a-time bridge and roll out into fairy tale Denmark. The town at the end of the road is a land out of time. The restaurant itself is charming and was packed with locals at 630pm. The food was fine - probably 3 stars worth but the setting and the time-travel nature of it all bumps the overall experience to 4. The food is pretty standard copenhagen prices (200 dkk for dinner and a drink).

I have visited before (2012) with great pleasure, but this time it disappointed me greatly. It is a beautiful setting though, so maybe if your just in for a coffee. The star is for the surroundings.
