We were told 6pm is the latest pick up time. We were not advised the day before, the day of or when we called the next day that there would be a $20 per dog extra charge for the pick up by 6pm. I guess there was an earlier check out time? My dogs (2) were there for 24 hours, 5:30pm Friday to 5:30pm Saturday and the charge was $133.00. They came home with extra food? Which means maybe one of them did not get fed the proper amount and a soaking wet blanket. So they were sitting in a wet kennel (water, not urine). So, were they ok, of course, but that is a lot of money to have my dogs sit in a crate. Was is completely awful, no, just not what I would do again.

We happily ended up with a number of photo post cards and a wood ball jar lid made by a local woodworker. There are other gift shops within greater Seward, but Gayle and I enjoyed this one the best.

My boyfriend and I walked into the store, looked at the art, then saw a neat camera WITH NO SIGNS…read moreon it or anything. We looked thru the lens and touched a nob. The nob vibrated a tin sign that was on the shelf and it fell. That's it. A woman walked out and told us not to touch the camera, we said okay, sorry and explained it was just the sign and she continued to watch us. We asked a question about the camera because my boyfriend is a photographer and she answered back very rudely. She walked away and another woman in the back asked "did you yell at them?" Then came out to yell at us, including a rude comment saying "at a certain age you'd think people would not touch things" and made a point to try to put a sign on the camera saying "do not touch, I'm old." After that we left because we were so offended. After it sitting for a minute I walked back in because the whole experience was extremely vile. I let the first woman who came out know how offended we were and how it was such an unpleasant visit. She continued to argue saying how children don't even touch the camera and continued to be hateful towards me. Eventually grabbed me by the arm and said leave or she'd call the cops and how I shouldn't have came back to let her know how I should've just not touched the camera. I told the woman not to touch me. I told the woman I would write a review of my terrible visit at the store and when leaving she told me to "f*ck off" and I told her the same back. Very unpleasant. Will never give my business to anyone with such terrible customer service and full hate to fellow humans. They have a sign on the door saying only enter if you're kind and they should definitely take that down.
