The only complaint i have is there are not enough tills, particularly at busy times like christmas and sometimes the queues are almost to the end of the shop, so beware if you are in a rush.

Some items are a similar price to the supermarket, but mostly they're quite a bit cheaper- especially good for biscuits, sweets and jars of sauce etc. Also keep a look out for the cookware- they have some silicone bakeware that's a lot more expensive elsewhere, photoframes and other great value stuff. They also have really good seasonal departments - loads of christmas ornaments and decorations in the winter (including plenty of those annoying singing christmas characters!) and a pretty extensive garden department in the summer. And best of all, their prices are really low, so it's well worth a look if you need anything from batteries to bin bags to bedding.

You can click onto quite a bargain at Devlins with their offcuts. They provide a free measuring up service, carry a lot of stock and tend to be able to fit quite quickly. The store used to be in an old converted petrol station which always looked a bit scruffy, when they moved to neare the canal it improved their appeal considerably. I have had an off cut of carpet edged here and made into a runner style mat for the hall. This means it matched the carpet and i got to choose the size so that it fits the space instead of making do. I recomentd this store.

Very pleased with the service but absolutely delighted with the quality and finish of the cabinets…read more they're superb, as good as anything I've seen. Having got three other quotes this one was the easily the best value of them all when everything was taken into consideration and the no-nonsense service was much appreciated. In terms of the design, where I knew just what I wanted and they gave me it, even when it was slightly different from normal/usual. For example I didn't want them to source the handles, I wanted to do that myself. I didn't want drill holes in the cabinets, so they left them out. Where I wanted to design the fireplace mantle-piece myself, they were happy to do that from my photo & drawings. However they were always happy to give advice if I needed it, like what paint finish worked best and why and how best to plan certain areas of the layout. Would recommend these guys in a heart-beat.
