This started out so promising. I needed some dirt and concrete removed from my backyard. I sent him pictures and communicated what I needed. He arrived, my husband stopped working so he could guide the young man into our gate. I went down the street to retrieve supplies from my contractor that Donald requested. He then called and asked could my husband come out to help him. That wasn't possible. Needless to say he was there for about 30 minutes and didn't put a dent in the project. He charged me $200.00 and never followed up on when he could finish the job. My husband says I was bamboozled and he will no longer let me hire help. Unfortunately this is the last black business in this industry I will be supporting. Please don't lie and say I didn't tell you that I had dirt. I was disappointed with the service I received, as such I can leave a review. I let some days past hoping you would follow up with me like you said you would and you never did. What can I say? Donald is amazing. He saved me time, money and aggravation with his work ethics. When I hired R2R, I was thinking they will haul all of the items I needed gone and leave me with the cleanup. Donald was great to work with. I needed cement to be disposed of and Donald responded within 5 minutes of my yelp message and was at my house in the next 30 minutes. He was able to clear the two piles of large leftover cement blocks from a construction job by himself in order to give me the best deal. I needed to get furniture removed quickly and I had a limited budget. Requested quotes from Yelp and initially R2R did not make my final cut. But thanks to Donald's persistence, I am SO glad he came over to give me another estimate after actually SEEING what I needed removed. The three other companies all INCREASED their estimates where as R2Rs did not change. R2R also was able to complete the job in just over 2 hours whereas the others said at least 4 hours and 2 trips.
