I had the drip coffee (excellent) and watched as the barista prepared instagram-worthy espresso-based beverages for the customers before me. I took home a bag of their in-shop roasted coffee ("Cardinal", a medium-dark-roast Mexican bean) and was delighted with the flavour, clarity, and sweetness. My son ordered the Tin Roof BLT, and everything about it tasted incredibly fresh. I especially appreciated that they used locally baked bread instead of the typical store-bought variety. (If you're wondering, they also offer a regular BLT--but you won't get the turkey, avocado, or chipotle mayo that make the Tin Roof version so special.) It was a delicious sandwich from start to finish. For myself, I ordered the Nutellaccino. It was surprisingly good. The Nutella added a nutty richness to the coffee without making it crazily sweet. We also ordered a peanut butter brownie to go. Since my son was eating his sandwich first, the staff kindly offered to keep the brownie in the fridge until we were ready to leave.
