The last time I went in the employee at the register seemed very annoyed that I was checking out, an item rang up incorrectly, and I asked if she could double check the price she said, "I don't know the prices, I don't have them memorized "... After a 2nd very polite request she proceeded to walk off without saying anything to me to go to the back of the store to get another person to help. While I appreciated her getting help, I felt kind of weird standing in the store by myself not knowing where she was going or if she was coming back. Everyone is entitled to a bad day but this has started to become the norm at RaceTrac locations in our area unfortunately.

I think I bought a soda and chips and $50 worth of gas. Got back into my car where I proceeded to breakdown. Embarrassed, I decided to drive home. As I get about 5 more miles down the road I heard a dinging coming from the dash warning me the car would be out of gas in another mile or so. This is when I panicked. What was I going to do? I was approaching another station but new I didn't have enough. I decided to call the race track I had just visited and explain the situation not only did she refund the entire transaction, but she did so immediately so that I would have the funds available . Way to go guys. It's good to know there are still young compassionate people left in this world!

This is probably one of the most dated gas stations you'll come across--nothing about it feels…read moremodern or recently updated. That said, I've never actually had an issue here. The pumps work, the store is stocked with the basics, and I'm able to get in and out without any hassle. While it's clearly due for a facelift, the staff has always been fine and I've never had a problem with fuel, payment, or service. It's not a place you go for atmosphere or amenities, but if you just need gas and convenience without complications, it gets the job done. Sometimes reliability matters more than appearances.

African American girl at the register need some customer service lessons. She has 0…read more If she is having a conversation with another employee. The customer has to wait until she is finished. Sometime she will walk off when she see someone coming to the register and her clothes are filthy. The cook is always sweet but she should have on an apron so her clothes will not look dirty all the time. The gas station and restroom is always super clean but the appearance of the ladies and the attitude of the lady at the register is a turnoff......

That's right: you can show up even after 7:15 am on a weekday and still pull right into a reduced-price pump. No need to idle in that line of 20, debating if you should jump the slow pumpers to snag that empty middle space or wait for everybody to pull out at once. And definitely avoid the grumpy spouse telling you to "just do the skip" or talking through the windshield at the person two cars up to "just put the pump away and get back in your car." The reason? Open pumps. It's revolutionary. Meanwhile back at the pumps, the attendants are friendly and keep things clean etc. It's just what the pump doctor ordered and I'm quickly filled up and back on my way to spend 50x the money I save in gas over at the store:). That's not the reason it's a 4-star review though. The reason is because fuel stations shouldn't get 5 stars unless it's a Galt Energy Station (shout-out Ayn Rand). I'd love to continue writing about the fabulous window washing stations and sani-wipe dispensers, but I'm getting pestered to "put the pump away and get back in the car!"
