He discussed with the couple and was happy to work with their plans and what they did and didn't want, and very thoughtful about the photography options with great suggestions. He was a super nice guy as well. The day of the event he was professional, very flexible in the face of lots of cooks in the kitchen, clearly knew what he was doing, and really nice to work with. He knew how to compose shots and make them look great. But most important, the pictures came out wonderful! Finally, his fee was completely reasonable and appropriate to the occasion (unlike other photographers we contacted who said they had a minimum wedding fee whether or not it was a large, standard wedding event). We went to Longwood, while I'd been there before I didn't know how well it would photograph at night. I also had only about 2 weeks to get a photographer. Thankfully Gretchen was there to save us all! She offered a call to clarify about the plan and recommend locations to propose at for better photos as well. This proved to be super helpful considering both my friend's now fiance and I knew nothing about proposals. On the day of, she stayed in constant contact for the surprise photos and charged in the moment the proposal began. For the price (over $800) I was expecting much better direction on getting the best angles for photos. We had barely any direction given and the whole thing felt extremely unorganized. They had to have taken at least 200 photos but when it came time to go through the pictures to pick our favorites they only showed us 25 mediocre pictures. We picked some that we were ok with but couldn't even find enough we liked to meet the number we would receive for our package deal. I asked to see some of the other photos that they had taken but didn't pick for us and one of the first photos they showed from the "no" pile where the best pictures! I was shocked that they were going to put those in the trash pile. We picked our pictures and a week later I was told our printed framed photo was ready. I arrived at 3:30 PM to pick it up that Saturday and they had closed early without any notice so I left them a VM to let them know I was upset. 3 days later I received a call with an apology and was told to make up for the "miscommunication" they where going to order more prints for me from our photoshoot. It's been 2 months and I've received no call to come get these prints. This place is unorganized and way way overpriced for what you get. I would liken the experience and photos we received to what we could have gotten from JCPenny Portraits. At least they charge a more fair rate.

WOW! I still don't have words almost 3 months later. The pictures were incredible, I wanted them to…read morejust capture everything in the moment and they did just that and MORE. I cried from the detail shots all the way until the pictures from the reception. We did our engagement shoot with Anthony at Valley Forge with our two kids, 1 year old daughter at the time and he was great! They were by far my favorite family pictures we have ever done. The pictures for the wedding day were beyond natural which is exactly what I wanted it to be. I didn't want things to seem posed or have to re pose for pictures. They caught majority of the pictures in action, and pictures that they didn't catch the poses were not unnatural and the pictures came out perfect. I had every intention to do my first looks at the venue which we had a decent amount. I was doing one with my son, my dad and obviously my husband and my husband was going to do one with our daughter. Cassandra last minute suggested that we do mine and my dads first look at the hotel which was the perfect idea! It saved us time when we got to the venue where we didn't have to rush around to fit in an extra first look and my dad could be with us right away. We also did a video with them and that was beyond amazing I cry every single time I watch the videos and I probably will cry every time I watch them.
