Well come to the Radcliffe, where the servers are all so sweet and make you feel like you are a local that comes in everyday for coffee and your sunny side eggs. The customer service right from the door is so warm and inviting like a hug from a cozy grandma. As for the food, you get mostly classic breakfast foods like pancakes, sandwiches and the crispy home fries. It is nothing flashy but it is delicious. The coffee is good and they are constantly filling your cup. I also appreciate that they have reasonable prices in this crazy economy. The only downside is that the place is small, so be prepared to wait on the weekend a little bit. We have never waited more than 15 minutes because this part of town is not too busy. Good solid breakfast spot. Found parking on their side lot and entered into a simple neighborhood dining room. I sat at their long bar and took in the old school small town diner feel. The staff was friendly and prompt. They kept the coffee coming and made you feel at home. Cash only, but they have an ATM on site. I had their two egg special - eggs scrambled with sausage links, home fries and rye toast for $6-$7 ..... with coffee, around $10-$11. The home fries were ok, but the eggs and sausage hit the spot. Their coffee was a tasty roasted blend that needed nothing added. Their lunch menu looks like it has some great choices with all different styles of - steak sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs, chicken sandwiches and salads. Tryed hear for the first time this morning. After reading all the great reviews on Yelp. And glad I did. Where do I begin hear. The staff is so friendly. The inside is clean and fits many people. The food is just so good, And there prices, we'll they can't be beat it's so reasonable!! The Waitress keeps coming back asking if you need more coffee. Will definitely be going back. Finally made it here! Shame we waited so long! I totally see why there's usually a wait! Simple local spot with some very good food! Chatted it up with the regulars while waiting. Steve the owner introduced himself to us and assured us it wouldn't be long. We watched him pouring coffee and talking to his customers. I took a moment to notice that things seemed to be running smoothly, customers were happy, workers were hustling and the food all looked great! Steve gave us a choice to sit in the "I95 corridor" spot..we jumped on it and chuckled over the nickname! There were a lot of choices on the menu and that is always a good sign! My husband got the chicken fried steak with gravy. He's never had it before and loved it. Those home fries were excellent too! I loved my short stack of French Toast. Thick and fluffy! The side of bacon was generous and perfectly crisp. (Katie?) was our server and we hit it right off with her. She made sure we didn't need anything and in the tradition with keeping things moving, dropped our check right off. My wife and I went there this morning; we have been going here for nearly four years. Breakfast is always great and served quickly and with a smile. Free "heaters" equal bottomless cup of coffee. We can usually be in and out of there in 30 minutes if we want to or we can take our time. Both my friend and I had good sized portions for the price and service was very attentive. Clientele is a mix of locals who know the place pretty well and new folks. Well! This place is not where you would expect it to be but boy was my breakfast fresh. I ordered the Spanish Omelet which came with home fries that were just PERFECT! Lightly crisp and soft on the inside with a hint of onion. Best I have ever had. My daughter had SOS. It was freshly homemade and you could see it before you tasted it. This place is awful. Come on Bristol, don't you know what good, quality food is? Potatoes from a can, lard is used as butter, Walmart brand hot sauce...I could go on and on. My omelette was not good and the canned potatoes must of been cooked in margarine, tasted so awful, they were not edible. It's very unfortunate my first time in this town, I tried to grab a bite from a place with food reviews and couldn't get past the phone conversation. I called in a to go order, was put on hold for several moments... that part was fine. I forgot a item so I called back to amend. I was placed on hold for 6 minutes and then hung up on. I called back, placed on hold again... I tried to ask the employee to simply add a side of bacon to my order. She cut me off and yelled for someone else to help me. I eventually hung up. My friend went to pick up the order, got back to the house... the grits were SUPER runny and the scrambled eggs with cheese turned out to be a rectangular shape with 2 un melted slices of cheese on top. IDK which is worst... the customer service or the food. The prices are dirt cheap. Guess you get what you pay for. I'm a Southern Gal, I can hardly believe they think these instant grits are something to witte home about. SHAME ON YOU! read more
