They're about living in and living out the grace displayed through the Gospel, and holding to the truth of the Gospel...being the "good news" of Jesus Christ. The first time my husband and I went to Northbridge we saw a couple people who obviously struggled to fit in socially...yet they were out there...one seemed to be pleasantly waiting and enjoying the atmosphere, the other smiling and talking with people. On our way out, we discussed the thought that if this church didn't try to 'hide' these people, then we just might fit in ourselves! It's close to 10 years later, and while no church is perfect, we definitely found "home". --My husband adds that he really likes that "without ignoring the reality of sin, the pastor preaches/teaches the importance of the grace Christ extends to us...and extending that grace to others."

Several friends told me about this church and I was a bit overwhelmed when I first went. I was not used to a contemporary worship with a band and hearing sermons that kept me awake and engaged. This church has a blessed presence that everyone should experience. Coming from a catholic background, this church is great at providing an understanding of the Bible for people of all backgrounds and knowledge levels. I can now say that I understand my own faith and interpret the Bible without getting stumped. All of the pastors are great and I love how varied each pastor is. Like Pastor Lee is incredibly intelligent and knowledgeable about the Word and Pastor Jon is very real and speaks from lived experiences. I am not a fan of how the approach homosexuality. Yeah the Bible does speak against it, however it does not mean we should not love those that are gay. I don't ever remember them preaching not to love gay people or speaking of any conversion therapy, they just openly say how the Bible speaks against being gay and sexually immoral in general. That is only thing that upsets me about this church. Overall, this is a great community for anyone of any age seeking community. My Grandfather was Raymond Picket, the podium where the signature book was kept for years, and maybe still is there in the narthex. My husband and I were married there in a beautiful ceremony by Rev GH Bonney on July 29, 1960. We have a beautiful family with our son being a United Methodist minister in The Hershey, Pa area. Both daughters are also Christians, as was my Folks, Verle and Joyce Hines. This church was an excellent foundation for our lives still today. Fond memories still are prevalent in my mind. This isn't necessarily a business it's a church that has a iffy food pantry they'll give you fresh…read moreproducts but then a lot of stores donate their food that's getting ready to expire so you'll have expired food like bread that will be slightly moldy and other food that people donate maybe from their home who knows and a few Farmers that will donate vegetables they give you a small box once a month that will probably last you about 2 or 3 days and a couple of canned goods the people that work or volunteer there can get two boxes though.
