I arrived 3 minutes early and they called me in one minute early. We discussed what should be done in the future as well as what was going to be done today. I didn't experience a single SECOND of pain. He was so gentle and kind. His assistant was as well. The reason I didn't give them 5 stars was because the dentist never officially introduced himself, nor did his assistants and they don't wear name tags.

However, Dr. Unruh not only gaslights his patients but promises them support that never comes. I've never been treated so poorly or felt worse about myself due to a physician. Without my knowledge he wrote a letter to my disability saying that all my very serious medical illness were due to mental health conditions. I lost all of my income overnight. When I called to ask him about it he refused to answer any of my questions directly. Even after telling him that I'd be living in a shelter within 3 months. No matter how much I cried he wouldn't even speak. I, along with my entire family, have never felt so blind sighted & unheard. This was in January. I'm now close to homelessness. Dr. Anderson became my new dr & finally gave me the support I need. She's become my new advocate in regard to regaining my income before I lose my house. It just goes to show how unheard I was under his care.

My teenage son needed to see a dentist last spring for a bad toothache Dr. Sherwood does not accept…read morekids on KanCare insurance so I asked what it would cost just to take a look at him because his tooth issues was affecting his health they told me $250 I said ok. A few X-rays and five minutes of Dr.Sherwoods time I was told my son needed the tooth pulled or a crown procedure,we could not afford go the crown through Dr. Sherwood so we left and I went another route. I called back a few days later to ask Dr.Sherwood a few questions after I looked more into this issue consulting people in the dental field about pulling the tooth or going with a crown and I was informed I might not get a extensive answer because of my one time payment of $250. I understand dental care is expensive, but when it comes to kids/teens and a parent who is willing to pay out of pocket to get help and answers it seems like my experience with Dr. Sherwood is he is more concerned with six $$$$$$ figures a year.
