Antiquated billing practices. They referred me to a third-party collections agency within 3 weeks, as a result of a worker's compensation claim being billed incorrectly. Years ago after a car wreck all my medical bills were paid in full by my lawyer after the settlement, they still continued to send them to collections. Those were easy to remove off my credit report since I had all the litigation receipts. These current charges are outstanding and not owed as they were paid in full by my medical card at the time of services. Sad when medical companies are allowed to try to double collect on debts like these. If I actually owed the debt, I think I would have actually gotten a bill at some point with a balanced owed ~ and I did not. Same address for the last 6 years and never got a single balance owed bill. read more

Several months of jumping through all their hoops to satisfy their demands. Still receiving bills. I document every single encounter and every time I call there is no record of any previous calls, emails or payments. I have bank records proving payment. Now for days they have an automated message stating that they are "experiencing technical difficulties, please call back at a later time" ...Is THIS really the BEST billing they can do?!? Seriously! I just received a bill from Credit Collections for $9.90. Really??? turned it over to collections. Not happy! A phone call would have been cheaper on ya. I'm juggling two jobs and have a sick husband. I don't even remember an original bill. I just called and went to pay them via my debit card and they told me a $4 processing fee. Their error in billing had me turned into a collections agency. They used an incorrect combination of both my son's and my name. They also used an incorrect address. When they bills went unpaid, they turned it into collections. Had an extremely difficult time sorting the mess out. I am tankful that some how the notice for the collections agency made it to my mail box. This is what happens when billing is moved over seas. read more
