Really inconsistent competence and quality among the radiologists. Dr. Sasson appears to be an excellent radiologist and provided an accurate and detailed MRI report for a chronic condition in 2018. Dr. Silbert's report on the same condition in 2019 was significantly less detailed and contained interpretive errors based on his personal assumptions, but presented as fact and confusing the clinical picture for other medical providers reading the report and deciding on treatment protocol. Dr. Dvorak's report on a follow-up MRI several months later was of surprisingly appalling quality, lacking any helpful detail to guide further treatment and containing typographical errors, which gave to the impression of an extremely rushed and imprecise evaluation. When my PCP asked the office to provide a more detailed reading of the MRI, so she and my infectious disease doctor could make appropriate and timely decisions on how to proceed in my treatment, he added only one equally unhelpful, vague and irrelevant line. It seems like a crapshoot which radiologist reads your images (whether x-ray, CT, MRI or any other), which is unfortunate and dangerous because the extreme difference in quality between Dr. Dvorak's reporting vs Dr. Sasson's could highly influence the accuracy of diagnosis and treatment for any given condition. There needs to be better oversight to assure that all radiologists in this practice are providing the same standard of high-quality interpretation. read more
