As a category, "Airport hotels" do not sound glamorous compared with "City Center" or "Harbor View" hotels. They inspire images of darkened, dirty hotels with excessively loud acoustics. Radisson Blu Arlandia is exactly the opposite. For a reasonable nightly rate of around $100, I had a beautiful room with comfortable single-king sized mattress (key and rare finding in Europe), feather pillows, extra large bath towels and a room with a view of an airplane cafe. The room was quiet! The tv even had an option to connect to your device to stream content from your personal services. While the most important aspect of any hotel is the room, the perks at this hotel are also great including a free airport shuttle operating roughly every fifteen minutes, an amazing extravagant breakfast buffet curated by a chef, a gym, pool, shared since, and a beautiful elegant lobby with friendly staff. Would absolutely stay here again. Protips: if you are looking to get to citycenter, you can take the free shuttle from the hotel to the airport and either catch Flix bus for $7-10, public transport or an Uber. There are other options. Breakfast is worth the extra $20. Breakfast is served from 4:30 in the morning. There is complementary coffee in the lobby from 2:30 in the morning. Lastly, the hotel has set rates with local taxis so you know exactly how much it will cost if you opt for that transport option. read more
