You so have to use the squeegee and clear the water from the floor when you are finished. There is an outlet in the room to charge your electronics or hair styling product. If you book ahead of time you do not have to remove the dirty linens from your bed. I had a 12 hour layover and the cost was 800 krona which was about 400 cheaper than Clarion Hotel that is near by. There are 3 hotels in the airport and the last one I checked with was the Rest and Fly. Unfortunately they were totally booked for the evening. I was so grateful to meet Linn (front desk hostess) who helped me navigate which hotels were close to the airport and would be in my price range. She went the extra mile to accommodate a weary traveler and directed me to the correct location to meet the free shuttle to take me to the hotel also. Thank you Linn for making me feel welcome in your country and getting a place to stay that evening. Keep up the great service and beautiful smile that makes the day for the people you meet even when they are not the guests of your hotel.

What a scam. Do not book if you are a foreigner. Lies lies…read morelies and total jerks. We book online - a double room. Get there - they see 2 of us and refuse to allow us in without an additional 200 kr. We show them the website- show them on phone nowhere to click " 2 people" and that we booked a " double room". Aka 2 people. They tell us the beds and rooms do not accommodate 2 people and we need to pay even more to a 4 person family suite. We ask to speak to the manager . They refuse. We continue to ask to explanation and take out card as it appears there is no way around this madness. and the woman behind the desk starts snapping and raising their voice at us that we are " screaming " at her and she will refuse to allow us in hotel. She walks away and so does the several other people checking people in. We are left standing there mystified. No manager appears . There is one woman at the counter left and we ask her what the hell just happened and told her we were clearly not shouting. She checks us in . We get to the clearly for 2 people room- large bed- 2 wine glasses- 2 water glasses- 2 cups for coffee- 2 identical sets of towels. What a total scam to milk people out of money by demanding last min fees. We will not be staying at Clarion properties again and will use the Raddison next time.

This hotel is attached to the airport so you never have to venture outside into the cold and snow. Their breakfast starts at 4am - for those of us that have a super early flight. This is the earliest breakfast start time I've ever experienced. And the free breakfast buffet was extensive - almost to the level of resort buffets. Check-in and checkout were super easy with the friendly people at the front desk However- I could not get the heating to work. It was pretty chilly in my room considering one wall was all glass overlooking the runway. (Absolutely no noises coming through the glass). Not much change in temperature after adjusting the thermostat, so I called the front desk and they offered a space heater. It took a bit of time, but the room warmed up to comfortable. Other than that hiccup, I would stay here again for all the benefits they offer.

I spent decades revering this icon of global travel to exotic destinations. Rode it for many years when in college and as a young adult. And now I get to come up close to one just as this queen of the skies is getting retired from most flagship airlines in favor of 2 engined planes. Very clever use of space with strong homage to key areas of the aircraft. I originally booked an engine nacelle room. But am grateful the receptionist offered to place me in the main cabin for several reasons--proximity to toilet-showers, noise insulation (from aircraft taxiing nearby), and the alarming wobble each time someone walks the wing overhead! Breakfast begins at 3am. An easy terminal shuttle bus (P3 Alfa) runs 4 times an hour for much of the day and night. No shoes inside the hostel--bring flip flops to use around and un bathrooms.

For those who book cheap fares with long layovers like we did, Connect Hotel is perfect. There is nothing fancy here but it is quite nice. My traveling companion actually described it as "Ikea like." The hotel is clean, comfortable and quiet so we got a good night's rest before the last leg of our journey. There is a full bar in the evening -- which is great for a weary traveler. Their restaurant service exceeded expectations. You make your selections, pay at the bar and soon the food is delivered to your table in the commons area. You can eat it there or retreat to your room if you prefer. My traveling companion is vegan and though the menu did not offer vegan dishes per se, several items, including a hearty bulgar salad, were easily adapted to a vegan diet simply by omitting the cheese. I ordered a shrimp sandwich. The small shrimp (probably 36-40 size) were piled high on an open face sandwich dressed with mayo and garnished with a pickle and fresh veggies. Along with a side of fries it was a satisfying meal. Breakfast is served starting at 4:00am in the morning -- a definite plus for those with early flights. The breakfast buffet includes a selection of breads, cold meats and cheese, hard boiled eggs, yogurts, fruit, cereals, juices, coffee and tea. They also offer gluten free and lactose free options for those on special diets (which also worked well for my vegan companion). We ate our fill and caught the 7:00am bus to the airport, getting there with plenty of time to leisurely work our way through security and to our gate. So if you have an itinerary like ours, you'll find that the Connect Hotel should serve your needs well.

They were quick to help when I requested a bag of ice for my ankle (which has been slowly healing from a grade 3 sprain since May 15). Really appreciated their concern. If you bend over while sitting on the toilet, you may bump your head on the sink counter. If you try to shower in the magical glass door compartment that has no tub but doesn't leak water, you may bang an elbow or knee. But nothing we can't deal with for such a good price! FOOD: ------- Basic complimentary breakfast of lunch meats, cucumber & tomato, cheese, bread, granola and yogurt, some fruits, and coffee. Lunch and dinner (and of course drinks) are available for separate purchase. LOCATION: ------------ Perfect if you need to stay close to the airport. Since we had only one night here for our layover on the way to Barcelona, this was the best location. It was only about a 15-20 minute Uber to downtown Stockholm. Transportation rocked. The hotel is on the outskirts of the airport, but the shuttle to the terminals is usually about five minutes, ten at worst. Reasonable quality Wi-Fi included in price. The included breakfast is basic by Swedish hotel standards but OK. I had dinner there once, also not very fancy but all right. You're not supposed to bring alcohol from the restaurant to your room, so be creative.

Add that to a night's stay under 80 USD and its a pretty affordable night's stay. Now obviously you have to lower your expectations due to that, but the room was really old and outdated. We didn't find any issues with the cleanliness but it definitely felt questionable probably just because of how in need of a face lift it was. Now, the breakfast..that was a whole nother thing. Gorgeous, extensive and never ending, fresh and delicious. I was incredibly impressed with the spread at this budget motel and it greatly outdid several of the higher end hotels we stayed at on our trip. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast, had a very easy shuttle trip to the airport and left our car in the safekeeping of the motel. When we got back we had absolutely no issues finding the shuttle and easily got back and picked up our car. As far as convenience, this place was a win win.

This hotel is literally inside a shopping mall, like you have to enter the mall to gain entry to it. Very odd. Check in was fast and easy. The elevators were ok, but upon getting out of them, the room numbers with arrows posted on the glass in frost need to be more visible. This room is indeed very small. The bed is simple, and I feel it serves it's purpose. As soon as I walked in, I turned on the heat. I was told by my colleagues that most od the heat in the rooms does not work, and if you called down they'd bring you a space heater. So i did. It took about 10 minutes, but house kewping brought me a small desktop space heater. I plugged it in, and omg. It made the worst racket before it actually conked out and stopped working. So i needed another brought to me. In the bathroom, you are given one bath towel, and one face towel. There is also some BS notice about helping the hotel stay green by using the same towel for the duration of your stay. JUST ONE TOWEL. Where's my wash rag? The toilet paper is the roughest toilet paper that I've ever used. I mean that. It felt like i was wiping with newspaper. There was no bath mat either. The tv sucks if you speak English! There's one channel that plays SOME of their programs in English. Otherwise, you're kinda screwed. So I'd suggest bringing some type of device to watch your own movies on if you don't speak the native tongue. The mall that's attached closes before 7 pm which was very strange for me. Breakfast is at a weird time. 3:45 am to 10:00 am.

The wifi was free, but a bit of a disaster as it worked with long usernames and passwords and my iPhone kept on disconnecting from it. The breakfast room was outside the main hotel part, next to it in the shopping mall (literally two steps away). No issue but there was no hotel wifi connection. Sitting in the mall also was a bit awkward (for me). The shopping mall opens at 10am on Saturday so don't plan any early shopping ;)
