My husband and I went with my sister, her husband, and my 2-year-old niece on a Saturday afternoon and the activities were great for a child this age and up to around age 10. It is geared toward children, so it probably wouldn't be very interesting for a group of teens or adults without younger kids. Admission is pretty affordable ($6 per person - no charge for children under age 2). I didn't actually confirm it, but I am pretty sure everything is cash-only, as I didn't see anyone paying with credit cards or machines that could process a credit card. Some activities cost extra (the zip line was $6 and the train ride was $2), but most of the activities are included in the admission price. They have a small cafe set in a semi-finished barn that serves reasonably-priced food items such as nachos, hot dogs, brats, caramel apples, and popcorn. I ordered a brat with chips and a bottled water for $5. The food isn't fancy, but it is affordable. There is plenty of seating in the barn, and you can also buy crafts that are for sale and children can ride a small carousel for 25 cents. They also offer free face painting on the weekends. Some of the attractions that are offered are a "jungle walk" (a 20-minute nature walk through a forrest), a giant slide, trike races, pony rides, train rides, old-fashioned buildings (jail, etc.), crafts, a small pumpkin patch, a zip line, and several "petting zoo" areas. You can also buy pumpkins and gourds at the exit. They had a very good selection and very reasonable prices (we got a very large pumpkin, two very large gourds, and two mini gourds for $20). The only thing I really wasn't a fan of was the petting zoo displays. The animals are pretty depressing. The horses seemed miserable and a little terrified and it was really off-putting. They also had a display with two pigs (that were fighting over a plastic grocery sack that had blown in their enclosure), a pen with goats, and a bunny enclosure. There were signs all over that all of the animals bite, so it seemed a little odd that these displays were advertised as "petting zoos." Although I did pet a horse and a goat with no bites, so maybe this is just a precaution. There are no restrooms - only outhouses. Overall this is a great outdoor activity for kids. It is much more cost-effective that other similar options in Nebraska (I'm looking at you, Omaha), and is a great way to spend a day with kids. It has enough activities to keep a young child's attention for several hours without being so large it is overwhelming. I would definitely recommend a trip here if you are in the area.

They have many free things for kids to do, slides, tree house, nature hike(20 minutes going at an adult pace pushing a stroller) many craft sheds to look at, and the animals to let/view, and a ferry you an pull yourself across the small pond and face paintings Kiddie train was always full of excited children and I think it was an extra $1-2 for kids to ride. They have a small zip line for free and two others 500 & 700 feet for an additional charge. ($6?) they have hay rack rides for an additional charge as well. We enjoyed seeing the animals. The petting zoo part is misleading. The first barn only had one lonely pony who seems terrified of people and another shed with two ponies and a llama. Ponies came up to us but the llama stayed far away in the shed. The 2 pigs were digging in the dirt and funny to watch, they have a chicken coop for viewing chickens and many goats to watch as they act like kids. The goats all came running to the fence for the kids to pull and feed them grass. The bunnies had a sign that says they bite, which I'm sure is just a precaution but when we were there they had a net across the whole bunny exhibit. Guessing people were picking them up instead of just petting. The nature hike was nice walk through the trees but nothing really to look at but the trees. Some kids passing by seemed uninterested. They have a cafe with bbq pork sandwiches, brats, hot dogs, sloppy joes, nachos along with candy apples, brownies, cookies and pumpkin bars. Food was very good and a decent price. 2 bbq sandwiches, 2 chips and a pumpkin bar were around $10 Staff was very friendly and did they what could to assist you with any questions Will definitely return here in the future. 4 stars were given instead of 5 due to no bathrooms. They only have port a potties and no where to change a baby's diaper. Disappointing considering its a children attraction.
