I visited this physical therapy clinic after being referred by my podiatrist on the New Year's Eve,…read moreand my experience was extremely disappointing and unsafe. As part of my treatment, I received dry needling. While the physical therapist didn't even bother to tell his name or walk me through the process, he was quick to make me sign a piece of paper so they could charge me money for dry needling. Not only did they immediately charge an additional $55 for the dry needling--on top of the regular visit fee and my co‑pay--but the lack of sanitation and customer service was alarming. Shortly after the appointment, I developed a serious bacterial infection directly at the treatment site. This resulted in two emergency room visits at Reston Hospital, lots of tests (lab, ultrasound, x-ray, CT scan) and I was told I was at risk of losing my limb. No patient should ever have to go through something like this. The clinic's poor cleanliness, unsanitary practices, and unclean treatment tables are unacceptable. I'm sharing my experience so others are aware and can make informed decisions about their care. What happened to me was frightening, preventable, and should never occur in a healthcare setting. I am sharing this so everyone can be aware of the lack of carelessness and cleanliness of this clinic.

Then I was rear ended again this year and I'm back. Meena is a great listener and focused on working out the kinks in my neck, lower back, periformis and glutes! It's uncomfortable but necessary. I've had 2 appointments this week and can see a difference. The front office staff Ruth and Sam are excellent! Very patient with intake and explains everything thoroughly! Looking for to pushing thru this month's PT sessions so I can be pain free again! Conveniently located off of Route 50 next to the Gum Springs library!

i came into Stone Springs Hospital for outpatient Hip Replacement Surgery. The outpatient check-in…read morewas great, courteous and efficient. the prep room process was great. the operating room staff and surgical process was outstanding, i was informed because of my blood levels that I would remain overnight for observation and s blood transfusion. I went to the recovery room after the surgery woke up in pain and the staff provided pain meds. Shortly ZI was brought up to my room. The day nurse started the process for my blood infusion. They did not do the same verification process that was done for earlier transfusions. The nurse did not stay in the room to check for any potential reaction. Layer she came in and said it was done snd disconnected it. At shift changeover an hour later, the night nurse noticed the blood bag was not completed. The night nurse confronted the day nurse about it. (in front of me) The night nurse decided to reconnect the blood to my IV. no alcohol swab was noticed bring used on the connections snd I was not sure if the blood bag had been hanging there for an hour if it was still OK. I was not consulted or asked. I clearly see the lack of effective communication between doctors, nurses, technicians, staff and the patients. There is a dry erase board in the room to ensure important info is passed and noted. NOT BEING USED. It is not kept up to date with progress, plans or goals. Even the doctors names are wrong. It appears that the patient is not included in the process and communication between the staff does not happen. No one has the complete picture of the planned care, for now or future. They need help with cross communication and statistical documenting patient progress. The care is good, but the patient has to be involved to make sure there is s complete picture. If you come here (Stone Springs Hospital) for services, you must stay engaged for your own good!!!
