Bottom line - go see this show! We've seen Raiding the Rock Vault five times already and every time we have a great time. The various musicians from various rock bands get together and play great rock music - and you can tell they love what they do. The venue isn't small and isn't super big either. It's the right size for this show. You get a good view from anywhere and can definitely hear the music. There are a good amounts of tables on the floor, then the bar area is elevated and has a few tables and standing room. We opted for the standing room tickets and had no problem seeing the show and enjoying the music. Show was about an 1 1/2 hours long and we were fine standing the whole time. I think the best tickets/seats would be at the elevated tables in the bar area. From there you get a nice whole view of the show, and since you're elevated people standing in front aren't too much of an issue. I highly recommend this show especially if you like rock music. Parking wise, we parked at The Park and walked over. The Hard Rock Cafe ( where the show is held) offers a 10% discount at the restaurant if you attend the show (before or after).

10 stars! No, 20! Seriously,100!ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE! There is a reason this Vegas show has been rated #1 for eight consecutive years! IT IS PERFECTION! An auditory & visual presentation of rock throughout the ages, this award-winning show was written by Grammy-winning producer David Kershenbaum. There are approx. 33 rock stars who perform in the show (just not all at one time); guests are never guaranteed who will be showcased nightly. A Meet & Greet for photos prior to the performance is an available option at approximately $99 per person. TONIGHT'S (11.22.2022) 90-min DYNAMIC LINE UP included the following: 2018 Hall of Famer Todd Herns on vocals (Slash), Keith St. John on vocals (Montrose, Lynchmob, & Kingdom Come), Oni Logan on vocals (Lynch Mob & Dio Disiples), Megan Ruger on vocals (The Voice), Michael T. Ross on keyboards (Lita Ford, Missing Persons, & Angel), Rowan Robertson on guitar (Dio & Bang Tango), Z. Maddox on guitar (Bow Wow Wow & Rock of Ages), Dan Grennes on bass (Melissa Etheridge & Billie Joe Armstrong), & Less Warner on drums (The Cult). These are NOT aging rockers. These excellent musicians are as good today as they were when they first found fame in other bands. (At 43, Megan Ruger is the baby of the show. Remembered for her tenure on The Voice, her powerful vocals she can be likened to that of Ann Wilson of Heart-- a musician featured in the show.) SEE PICS OF OUR ROCKSTARS... Raiding the Rock Vault covers some of the top hits of the 60s, 70s, & 80s. Artists include (but are not limited to): Jimi Hendricks, The Rolling Stones, The Who, The Doors, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Eagles, Free, Fleetwood Mac, Boston, Kanvas, Queen, White Snake, Van Halen, Aerosmith, JJ Top, Foreigner, Pat Benetar, Journey, Bon Jovi, Journey, AC/DC, & more! With the hard-hitting vocals of Herns, Logan, St. John, & Ruger, & the guitar, drum, & keyboard sounds of the extremely talented others, guests' eyes will be glued to the small stage & not want the show to end. (By referring to band members as "talented others," I've done each a huge disservice, for which I apologize -- AMAZING talent!) I loved each & every song, but especially St. John's rendition of Stairway to Heaven; it was beyond excellent. And Herns' range is nothing short of magnificent, while Logan was consistently spot on. The hair & flashy attire of each band member was the cherry on top of this musically spectacular ice-cream sundae. Patrons will feel as though they stepped back in time to decades that were rich w/ talented rockers & remarkable tunes. We who rocked along w/ them on car radios, @ school dances, & at area concert arenas were a blessed generation! The dark venue inside Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino is small in comparison to most others in Vegas, but it immediately brought positive memories of music concerts I had attended at local venues over three decades. The simplistic metal chairs were not uncomfortable, yet had scaffolding been used, the performance would have been even better (if that's even possible). Thankfully, only a few guests stood, & not for extended periods of time (while not obscuring my view). Having the large screen as the backdrop (& one on each side of the stage) was someone's brainchild; not only visible was the band's name behind each tune, but even better were the interesting facts & images that were displayed. For anyone who may not recognize every hit, the screens will be a huge plus. The apropos staff, each dressed in all black, were easy to identify. Their numbers were impressive. They were also friendly & helpful as they guided concert goers to their seats. (And they were fast to approach anyone who held up his/her illuminated phone.) I could go on & on & on w/ the numerous positives (& lack of negatives) of Raiding the Rock Vault, but it might detract from your first impression. The moment these multi-faceted rockers step foot on stage, YOU WILL BE BLOWN AWAY! This 5-STAR SHOW currently has 432 reviews on Yelp & 643 on Vegas.com. Getting that many diverse reviewers to agree on the quality of a Vegas show speaks volumes to the talent behind & on stage of this PHENOMENAL musical performance! Our energetic audience consisted mainly of those in their 40's, 50's, 60's, & 70's. With tickets free for military veterans & as low as $50 for everyone else, I highly suggest you splurge & pay for front & center seating. Upon my hopeful return to Vegas, I'll pay whatever it costs to have the best seat in the house & meet the rockers backstage! BUY YOUR TICKETS EARLY & GO!!! You will NOT be disappointed; rather, YOU'LL BEG FOR MORE! Rock on, Vegas, & THANK YOU for bringing this top-notch show to music fans!

Raiding The Rock Vault is one of the best Las Vegas shows I have seen. If you enjoy classic rock music, this show is a must see. The performers are very talented, and transport you back to the era of these great songs. They cover songs from all the top bands from the 60s thru the 80s. I highly recommend this Las Vegas show.

If you took the class "The History of Rock and Roll" in college and liked it, this show is for you! You have a mix of retired musicians from different bands that came together to perform some of the classics. Everything from Queen, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Survivor, Def Leppard, Bon Jovi, Jimi Hindrix, Heart, Pat Benetar and so much more! This musical journey has you wanting to sing and dance right along with them! It's loud and awesome if you like music! A must see for sure.

Great show spanning the music revolution! Definitely recommend this show. Note: If you're a veteran, check VetTix for tickets. Personal in your face show, as the venue isn't big. Fantastic musicians! Thank you for a great night out!

    Great musicians and vocalists!

Saw this show on a slow night in Vegas - Monday, 11/21/22. The room wasn't even full, but this great group of musicians and vocalists performed like they were in a sold-out arena! Most everyone in the band could sing (and those lead vocals were great). They each brought their individual style to each song. The guitar players were fabulous... so was the drummer and the keyboardist too. Actually not a weak link in the group! The song choices were spot on and they shared the spotlight nicely. Their harmonies were spectacular! I am not sure I can choose a favorite from the night. The ONLY thing that I could have done without is the two female dancers that showed up on a couple of songs. There was absolutely no need for that distraction. These artists put on an awesome show and watching them play and interact with the crowd was more than enough. If that is not enough for some people that aren't true rock music lovers, they scrolled miscellaneous facts about the band and/or the song they were covering. I Love, Love Loved this show! It's definitely a HIDDEN GEM at the Rio and I highly recommend it!

Best Tribute Show! I want to thank fellow Yelper, Lloyd M, who suggested that I wouldn't be disappointed if I spent $$ to see this show... well, I've got to see it to believe it... and he was right!! Located at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas that's exactly what I did. I booked a show for me and the hubby for a Sunday evening performance. So, okay, Raiding the Rock Vault is a Rock & Roll tribute show... nice! It tells the story of classic rock from the 1960s to the 1980s... super! What I didn't know was the show is performed by members of some of the greatest rock bands in history. Wait... what? For real? So in our show we had the following performers: Michael T Ross [keyboards] - Lita Ford, Missing Persons, Angel Paul Shortino [vocals] - Rough Cutt, Quiet Riot, "This Is Spinal Tap" Howard Leese [guitar] - Heart, Bad Company, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame (2013) Johnny Solinger [vocals] - Skid Row John Bisaha [vocals] - The Babys Blas Elias [drums] - Slaughter, Trans Siberian Orchestra Megan Rüger [vocals] - The Voice Z Maddox [guitar] - Bow Wow Wow, Rock of Ages Eric Runqist [bass] - Ben Folds Rock & Roll is not my first love of music genre but these guys (and gal) performed some amazing renditions of the greatest rock songs ever written - Bon Jovi, Eagles, AC/DC, Van Halen, Heart, Queen, Rolling Stones and many others I can't remember. I was impressed. The show was well produced! The venue is small and intimate. We had good seats and we were able to take all the pictures and videos we want. Watching these musicians was simply amazing and my hubby was most thrilled as he himself once played the drums and bass guitar. Review #1355

    Our lineup - live.
    Jim B.

Awesome! We love classic rock music and this live experience was amazing. The lineup for the show we saw (Jan 2, 2019) was great. They really complimented each other well. They played about a 90 minute set and they fit in a LOT of songs. Most songs were full versions, some were shortened versions and still some were just a sample of a song. All in all - well done. Pro - Proximity to most of the casino restaurants was nice - Line to go into club went real fast - Assigned seating (most of it is reserved seating, there may be a small amount of general admission) - Small, intimate venue - Bar with waitress service - Video screens (great for those to extreme sides of stage) Con - LOUD! We were in the center section in the 4th of maybe 10 rows. It was SUPER LOUD - Had to finish our Casino drinks before entering club. Seemed a bit odd.

    This is the band

We were super excited knowing what we had watched before, so was excited to see their reaction to it, too. The venue itself is amazing. It's a circus tent right outside of Cesear's palace. You walk in and are greeted with the funniest, kindest people ready to move you to your seats. Your server comes over quickly to ensure that any drinks are flowing! The chairs in the establishment are hilarious and just basic chairs with some designs on them. The venue itself quickly filled up and the show started. It was funny, sexy, raunchy, and jaw-dropping. Half of the show I kept looking at our friends making sure they were having a great time and, to no surprise, they were. The circus acts are unbelievable and the comedic relief dabbled in makes it even more of an experience. This is, by far, one of the best shows I've seen in Vegas! Highly recommend.

The performers are insanely talented, and the energy in the room makes it feel like you're part of the show even when you're just sitting there trying to process what you just saw. Definitely not your typical Vegas production - but that's exactly why it works! Go in blind, lean into it, and just let it be weird.

After all my research, I'm SO glad I decided on Frederic -- the bride said this magic show was her favorite part of the trip!! (and we went to Tao dayclub the day before lol) :) I love that it was in a small, intimate theater, so that you were up close no matter where you sat. And there was SO much audience interaction -- our bride even caught a frisbee and got to go on stage -- which was fun and helped make it even more special for her. The mentalism was such a cool departure from traditional physical magic tricks -- we all loved it and had many *gasp* moments. We even got to meet Frederic after, and he performed more mentalism up close, which was cool. HIGHLY recommend this show!! (Also, it was $30/ticket, which is a price you cannot beat in Vegas)

Mat Franco is probably best known for winning Season 9 of America's Got Talent and now performs his residency, Magic Reinvented Nightly, at The LINQ in Las Vegas. I don't want to say too much because part of the fun is experiencing it for yourself. What I loved most was how much he interacted with the audience. Such a fun Vegas night out!…read more I honestly didn't know exactly what to expect going into Atomic Saloon, but it ended up being such a fun experience. The whole place has this crazy Wild West saloon atmosphere that starts before the show even does, and the intimate setup makes you feel way more involved than you would at a typical Vegas show. The cast was SO entertaining. There was a really fun mix of comedy, dancing, acrobatics, and some seriously impressive stunts. The show is definitely raunchy and completely unfiltered, so this is not something I'd recommend if you're easily offended But if you can appreciate ridiculous humor and don't mind getting a little uncomfortable, you're going to have a good time. I also loved the audience interaction because it made the night feel spontaneous instead of like you were just sitting there watching a performance. You never really knew what was coming next! The venue itself is super cute and really adds to the experience. It feels more like stepping into a crazy little saloon than walking into a traditional theater. Definitely a fun option for a date night, girls' night, or anyone visiting Vegas who wants something a little different. We opted for the $70 tickets that were in the first level, back area towards the bar (there is a semi-obstructed view because of the lower ceiling, but I felt like it was worth the money saved because you really only miss like when the performers are high up in the air). It was also kind of an emptier show, so we got moved from the very back to the FRONT of the back area since the seats were empty. Which worked out for me because as an audience member I typically do not like being touched or interacted with by the performers. (pretty much a guarantee if you buy one of the seats in that inner circle area, you will 100% be touched, get bread thrown at you, or have to answer questions lol). Pros: - Very easy to get tickets the day of, but make sure you check various sites because they're randomly cheaper on some websites than others. - Honestly, a pretty entertaining variety show! It's different from Cirque shows because most of the acts are either pairs or individuals, and there's a LOT of variety. There's acrobatics, singing, dancing (tap, clog), some magic from the nuns, what I can only describe as breakdancing with a gigantic ring, comedy, etc. So it's not very repetitive and you see a lot of variation in skill and talent. Since you're also so close, you can literally see the performers flexing their abs and it's honestly a miraculous display of human skill and flexibility. Even though there's sexual innuendos and undertones, I honestly didn't feel that uncomfortable because the talent is very impressive. just packaged in a raunchy show haha. I had a good time and laughed a lot. - I could not stop laughing at the constant bread throwing. - Pretty decent drinks at the bar. I got a $12 matcha mocktail called the discos cowboy and it was actually DELICIOUS and so cute. - The entrance area was easy to find and all the staff we interacted with were pretty nice. - Very lively show and plot, again hats off to the acrobats and skill performers. Cons: - When you first go in and doors open, there's a "waiting" area with a bar that you have to wait in until the staff let you into the main seating area. This area was EXTREMELY stuffy and hot, with very little air circulation, and bodies packed pretty close to each other while waiting to get drinks at the bar or just waiting for the show. I really didn't like the 15 mins we waited in this area and would have just preferred to wait in the casino hallway outside the venue. - The comedy, while raunchy and entertaining, was a little too cheesy for me at times. Especially the jokes from the matriarch Irish lady who acts as the brothel owner - I felt like those jokes were very dad-ish and way too cheesy. - I personally really dislike crowd participation or being touched without warning so this part wasn't for me LOL. But I'm grateful we sat in the back. If you are super into this sort of thing, you will love it and you should sit in the front pew area or in the main circle area. Definitely don't bring your kids lol. I think I would be open to coming back and seeing a different variety of actors, since they say they change it up sometimes. Also the show is early enough in the evening (we went to the 9:30pm showing) where you could totally still go out to the club after. I don't regret this experience haha.

Absolutely spectacular! This is hands down the best show in Vegas…read more My family and I booked this show for a Saturday night with no knowledge of what it would be like and were simply amazed. We had seen the Cirque du Soleil Show "O" before and this just does not even compare. I recommend getting seats in the center, facing the middle of the stage, as close to the front row as possible. Sitting in this section immerses yourself into the show. Logistically, this is a great venue. It is located in Treasure Island. It is in the back of the casino. Although there are signs throughout the casino leading you there, it is quite easy to get turned around on your way there. Once you find it, it is simple to enter. Use the restroom before you get in though because it is located outside of the theater! We arrived around 20 minutes prior to showtime and had no wait at all to enter. They offer commemorative photos for purchase, which we declined. There was no security which surprised me. There were no metal detectors or bag searches. Inside the theater, there is a large concessions stand with snacks and drinks. Even close to show time, there was no line there either. They have a lot of staff available to guide you to your seats - it's very efficient. The seats were actually very comfortable. They were soft, spacious, and had a lot of leg room. Even though there were no lines for anything, you absolutely need to get there early. The "show" starts before is set time as there is a comedic character that hilariously interacts with the crowd. This is a must-see and had everyone cracking up with the unexpectedness of it. The show itself is pure spectacle. It is a bizarre exhibition of talent and creativity. You will see everything from trapeze, contortion, acrobatics, dance, balancing acts, comedy, and live music from an orchestra, band, and singers. Seeing these athletes push the limits of what the human body can do in such a beautiful manner is incredibly thrilling. The costumes are beautiful and the sets are amazing. Every scene change and act is so unexpected and really leave you at the edge of your seat. You quite literally have to keep your eyes peeled open to make sure you don't miss anything. There are so many different things happening at once all across the stage, on the floor, the ceiling, and even along the walls and walkways of the audience. There is no clear plot so you may find yourself sitting there trying to figure out what it all means. Some people may find this boring but it truly makes the whole thing more fascinating. There is an obvious intention behind every little thing, it is just unclear what it is. It is truly a mystery. I have recommended this show to everyone I know and I would love to see it again!

Most of the show is nonsensical, so don't look for a plot. Something to consider if you think to yourself, I've seen this before, the fact that the show HAS been running for 30+ years means those other shows stole it from this one. Logistically, I had to pick up the tickets at will call, and when I arrived 35 minutes before show time, the line to get in was already snaking through the casino. While I panicked a little, the line moved super fast when they opened the doors. I didn't need to get into that long line. An important thing to remember, if you pick up your tickets at Will Call, you need some ID and the credit card you used to buy them. I was lucky I bought them online the night before, while I was already in Vegas, but I often use a different credit card when buying from home. So to cum up, depending on your taste, this show represents the original Cirque du Soleil concepts, and that's what you'll see.
