Tips are not mandatory and are solely the clients choice, so me paying full price + 10% should've been appreciated. Otherwise, raise your prices if that's not enough. Came here literally on a whim. No plans just wanted a massage, called and came in. It was okay for our first time. They sent in a male for myself, a female for my boyfriend. I've had many massages in my day and this was the first time I was assigned to a male. Nothing against him, I just didn't expect to be touched by a male. I requested the female instead. She started with my scalp which I had never had before. I liked it but I just wasn't prepared for that. I chose a service that was 30 mins on the body and 30 min on my feet. I wish I had done just all body because I feel like I didn't get the work I needed. And I'm not sure if it is a liability issue but my thighs and hamstrings didn't get touched. Great massage and I was gonna start coming back weekly and making it a regular thing... until I went to pay. I got a 60 min massage which is $60, plus I added a 10% tip. Great, love going here. Went for a couples massage with my wife. Initially I had a woman and my wife had a man. We asked to switch for her comfort and they easily obliged without hesitation. My back and my shoulders were so tense from working a desk job and not moving as much as I should be. I prefer my pressure on the firm side and Joe did amazing work! Upon walking in the pricing is on the wall and the establishment seems very clean. We arrived a few minutes early and waited on the couch while our rooms/masseuse prepared for our appointment. Joe was a miracle worker. I'd stop by just for the hand and neck massage alone. They're not stupid to do something like that Well did you say anything? I asked if it was normal practice to change pressure in the middle of the massage, You don't know what happened to you while you were sleeping I will preface this review with the fact that I do not live in Las Vegas, but I have frequented this establishment in the past at least a handful of times. In the past, each massage was perfect and we always walked away wishing we had a spot like it back in San Diego. Unfortunately, my recent visit was not on par with my past experiences. The massage started off okay. I was surprised at how strong my female masseuse was, and it was a little harder/firmer than I wanted, but I let her continue with that pressure because I thought I would benefit from it in the end after my flight and long week at work. I was so exhausted from working 8 days in a row with no sleep the night prior, I fell asleep. Unfortunately, when I awoke, I felt a total difference in the massage. The masseuse was only using one hand on one foot ,and there was a total lack of pressure compared to what was being done in the beginning of the massage. After 3-5 minutes, I looked up and it felt like now that she knew I was awake, she would really start working. I did notice a white or blue glow of light on her face at that time. No words were exchanged, but the strength of the pressure from the beginning of the massage returned. I've fallen asleep during massages and facials in the past, but never have I ever had someone half ass the work while I was sleeping. I'm not sure if she was new, but she did keep stopping the massage to ask the other masseuse questions as they were a lot of pauses and whispering. When she had me roll over, she told me to roll over without helping with the sheet as they usually do. I had to move the pillow myself, and when she rolled the towel, she didn't properly drape it around the face hole, as I had to fix it myself. The back massage portion was okay, a lot of trying to crack my back over and over. Rubbing 2 forearms up and down my back in a haphazard manner. Great pressure, horrible technique. The 2 therapists left for quite awhile and I expressed my concerns to my sister. We were able to have a full on conversation and wondered where our therapists went. When they finally returned, they started with the hot stone portion. The stone was too hot, and they slipped from my therapist's hands. She dropped them on my lower back and I had to quickly move side to side to get them off, with no help from her. I was very upset with my overall massage and service received. As I was walking out, I saw the front desk worker being argumentative with my sister regarding his issue with the tip she gave to her massage therapist. When it was my turn, I explained to him why I was only going to give a small $5 tip. While I attempted to explain to him the issues with my massage, the worker continued to be argumentative, confrontational, and unprofessional. When I told him about the change of pressure when I woke, he asked me in an accusatory tone, "well did you ask her to do more pressure?" I informed him that I wanted to give the masseuse the benefit of the doubt before asking for any changes, and that she only applied normal pressure when she saw I was awake. He also continued to say that I cannot speak on what happened while I was sleeping because I was asleep. As if I have no right to what happened to my body after Which I followed with "is it common practice to stop massaging someone just because they fell asleep?" and "is it your practice here to change pressure in the middle of a massage when a request by the client wasn't made?" He emphasized me not being able to make statements about what happened while I was sleeping because I was asleep, as if it was my fault for falling asleep and not having control of the situation. It became a blame game. I wasn't asking for a discount, I was going to pay for the service received, but I refused to tip for the horrible service received. I understand advocating for your employees, but the fact that he was placing all the blame on us, the customers, is very telling. I began to wonder, are the workers' only forms of compensation from the tips? Does the business pocket all the money and not properly compensate their employees for the work that they do? Is this why he is getting so argumentative over the tip? He told my sister that people should at least tip $10, even if she wasn't satisfied with the services she received. Mind you, I'm not cheap, and I'll usually tip a lot for massages I receive. But this wasn't it. And I don't understand why the front desk person felt the need to argue with us instead of listening to the complaints of customers. Bad business, that's all. I no longer recommend this spot. The downside was when the friend who was with me for the first time tipped them 20% and when the front desk guy saw this, he said "you didn't like it?" And we said "it was great, why?". He said "people at least tip 35%." And my friend said, "sorry I didn't know" and took the receipt to tip more. My cousin was in town and suggested getting a massage, I looked in the area on Yelp and Rainbow Foot Spa came up, having great rates I called the day before to schedule two massages (30 reflexology + 60 body massage) for $60. My cousin was running a couple minutes behind and it was no issue, once he was there we both got our temperatures checked and hand sanitizer. We were both placed in a private room and had two women conducting our massages. I wore some bicycle shorts and a lose tank top (because I really did not know what to wear) to this massage. After my reflexology, it was recommended that I take off my top, bra and shorts. They were really professional in making sure that I was not exposed and covered up while undressing. In terms of noise, they do have relaxing music on, but if other people come to get their massages you can hear them enter, talk and move around the area. I am also pretty sure someone was clipping their nails at some point, but hey! if I wanted a Wynn spa atmosphere, I should have went to the Wynn. We both gave them a $20 tip because they put in a sold 1.5 hour work on our bodies, so don't be cheap! read more

Covid update: I'm actually fairly impressed with the measures they have taken - appointments only and once you go in, they give you hand sanitizer and take your temp. Typically I come with someone else and so we share a room but due to social distancing, they placed us each in a separate room. Staff wears gloves during the entire massage and a mask. My masseuse wore a face shield too. My mom is a regular here (I think she's gone through a few punch cards) but I can see why. I have become a frequent flyer here too! The rooms are a nice purple and relaxing ambience. They start you out with a bucket of hot water for your feet while they work on your shoulders, then they do your head, feet, then the rest of your body. The pressure was perfect and just what I needed, that I believe I fell asleep for half the time. When checking out I put what I felt was a tip for what I got, 18% and the man at the front demanded that I give them a certain amount of money which I did not think was OK. When I Vegas we get at least 2 foot massages during our trip. Rainbow foot spa was one of the better ones we have been to. Every trip we venture out to our favorite Korean restaurant, Soyo. We usually go back to Spring Mountain to ge tout foot massage, only this time we saw Rainbow foot spa pop up on yelp. I'm so glad we gave it a try. They are located about a block away from Soyo. The two gentlemen that did our massages we great. My face massage was awesome, even though it felt like he was gonna pop my eye out mod my sockets lol. Great pressure on my back and shoulders. Even better pressure on my feet. Almost up to the standard of some Japanese reflexology places. I love when the knuckle the soles of your feet and they hit that knot that hurts so good. Then they knead it out omg! The way to know a good massage is how long you can stay up! My wife said I was snoring within 1 minutes lol.
