Such a great place. Staff is amazing and there is a great selection of "stuff" from cute souvenirs in a wide price range, to the rock and crystal shop, to the back Native American shop with a really nice selection of art and jewelry. This gift shop is a true Colorado Gem--and worth a stop if you are staying in or passing through Pagosa Springs. I stopped here recently during an Autumnal road trip with my husband and son on a whim and it was one of the true highlights of my trip. The gift shop is expansive, containing a wide selection of gems and minerals, jewelry, and much more that I am sure I missed--all at a reasonable price. My little toddler loves gems and minerals, so that is the section where we spent the majority of our time. The owner noticed his interest and took the time to talk to him about all of the rocks he had selected and then took the time to find him a special rock that shines with rainbows in the sunlight. (He now sits with it in the mornings, angling it in and out of sunlight.) I so appreciate the time she took with my child: she reinforced his love of rocks and he talked about it the whole rest of the trip. I bought several gifts and specimens here for myself and for my father, who is a geologist. All of the staff was just so kind and helpful. I can't wait to go back and will be stopping in again in the future. read more

I purchased a Navajo ring at a very reasonable price and I could not be more happy with it. Adorable gift shop with the most amazing crystal selection! I go out of my way to come here every time I'm in the southern Colorado area. Their prices cannot be beat, the setup of the store never disappoints as there is always something beautiful to look at. They have some crystals that I hadn't even heard of before until stepping foot inside the shop! There are small bags of jewels, large $$$ pieces for one's home, bedside pieces, smaller chips for crystal grids, necklaces you can make yourself, handmade local jewelry, etc. Everyone that I've referred here has left impressed and full handed. Expansive selection of cards, t-shirts, stuffed animals, incense, altar pieces as well. If you get the chance to stop here, do it! Friendly, courteous staff as well. :) read more

We had a nice experience here in November, but I found out the citrine I bought is heat-treated and is in fact not natural. Really disappointing. They should have been transparent about that. read more

The staff at this store made me feel like I was imposing and shouldn't be shopping here. They were overly unfriendly. I didnt know that attitude was even possible until shopping here. The gifts here are not unique and severely overpriced. They are selling stones with "made in Malaysia" stickers on them. You might as well get a souvenir from Amazon.com. read more

Wonderful gift shop with three sections: jewelry and Native American arts and crafts, an extensive rock/fossil shop, and a T-shirt/souvenir shop. The woman in the jewelry section was very helpful and knowledgeable about the artists and their work, and I bought a beautiful turquoise ring and some hand-painted ornaments for a very reasonable price.
