I took pictures and sent them to my son as he was at work. I asked to save it for a few hours and will be back to look with my son. Erica was the salesperson who helped me. They carry…read moreeverything from glassware, paintings, curtains, decorations to beds, dining room tables, etc. The process is that an item is introduced at one price and 30 days later is discounted and then another 30 days later is discounted again if it does not sell. I have not tried to sell anything here, but we have purchased items here successfully. There is no negotiation aside from the posted price - at least the signs all say that. This store would be a good place to find a hidden gem or to sell something that is nice but no longer fits your space or style. I posted a cool picture of this large, round vintage, art-deco style table that seats about 8-10 but I had no where to put it. Which was good, because my wife hated it.

I love the fact that I can walk around the store without a sales person bothering me, but when I need assistance, someone is always available and willing to answer a question with a smile! They even fixed a loose handle and added a missing screw on my coffee table before I picked it up. 1) The pieces here move QUICKLY, so if you see something you like BUY IT because it may not be there when you come back 2) Unlike some other furniture/antiques places, the price you see is the price you need to pay. Things don't sit here very long, so there's no negotiating involved. Could be a turn-off at first for those that enjoy wheeling and dealing, but honestly everything is priced to sell...so it's either worth it to you or it isn't! 3) They do not post things on their website - new arrivals go on their Facebook page which is updated very frequently (our coffee table was marked sold very shortly after we left the store). I see some things on their Instagram, but for up-to-the minute inventory, Facebook is your best bet. 4) It's a mix of old and new stuff. What a surprise when I walked through the front door! I was amazed at the high quality furniture! It was everywhere! I instantly started taking a video! The sales people here are super nice and not the least bit pushy! That was a relief in itself. They took their time giving me a tour and even introduced me to the owner! This is the 2nd time I used Greystone for chair repairs. The first was a ladder chair broken at…read morethe top center. When I got it back, it looked like they had used tinted hot glue to piece it together. It was old but not an antique and I assumed it was the best that could be done. I recently brought in a new white chair that had a back leg broken (teen boys!) When I went to pick it up, the woman at the desk commented on how clean it was and they don't usually get chairs that clean. When I got it home, I noticed dirty fingerprints all over it. As I was trying to clean it, I realized it also had a red dusting all over it. I believe they must have taken it to their shop, and let it sit there uncovered while the sanded other pieces of furniture. While the repair of the leg is solid, not protecting the furniture from dirt in their shop is unacceptable. It still looks dingy compared to the other chairs, very disappointed.

The selection turns…read morequickly, so that inventory turns quick and the furniture is all high end and in good condition, so always good values and good finds. The shop accepts consignment only after qualifying (this is not a thrift shop) and on a 50/50 split of the sale. They do have delivery options available for nominal fees, usually per trip and not per item, so multiple items are the same delivery charge as one item. Also, if you have qualifying furniture, you can buy something, have it delivered and swap out your consignment pieces all at the same time, same trip. This is a small shop but lots of fun and always fresh!
