We have been with this practice for 7 years, and leaving is incredibly disappointing. Dr. Arrington and Caitlin have always been excellent--attentive, thorough, and truly caring since my son was a newborn. They are the only reason we stayed as long as we did. However, since the practice was taken over by Pedatrica, the front office has significantly declined. The staff is consistently rude, condescending, and lacks basic professionalism and respect toward patients and families. The final straw was a recent interaction with a staff member at the St. John's location regarding a payment arrangement. After one missed call and a payment less than a week late, I was spoken to in a scolding, disrespectful tone and told I was "making her job harder." When my son's grandmother called back to make the payment, she was treated just as poorly--spoken down to instead of being helped. There is a complete lack of courtesy and patient respect, which is unacceptable in any healthcare setting--especially pediatrics. Before making the decision to leave and remove my son from this practice, I emailed the office two weeks ago to address these concerns and received no response. It is likely there will be a generic reply here asking me to email a practice manager--however, that effort has already been made, and the lack of follow-up speaks for itself. It is unfortunate that one staff member and a declining front office experience have driven us away after 7 years. Families deserve to be treated with respect, not talked down to. I remember when this was a great pediatrician with just Dr. Reddy. When I could call and get someone to answer. When I could actually see Dr. Reddy. When Dr. Reddy knew my child's name. When Dr. Reddy did house visits for newborns. When I could do my med check the same time as another reason for a visit. Automated system, can't even get someone to answer the phone or call you back. They ask about your child's eating habit, so they can bill for nutrition. Everything is done for a billing code, nothing is done because it is convenient or because they care. Don't think you can go for a well visit and ask to do your 3 month med check at the same time. Different billing codes, different visit. 30 min to get there, 1 hour to get in and out, 30 min home---waste of time. My older daughter, had enough, left for a regular family practice. read more

I absolutely LOVE Rainbow Pediatrics & how they care for my 3 children. We started at Rainbow in 2020 when my third daughter was born. We were currently seeing another pediatric office for my two older girls, but I had heard so many amazing things about Rainbow, I decided to start my infant with them as soon as she was born & boy am I glad I did! I quickly moved my two older girls over to Rainbow after one visit with my infant. The office staff is always welcoming & warm, the wait time is never long & the medical assistants are so good and friendly with my kids. We typically see Kaitlin, who I cannot say enough great things about, my 3 year old has had so many different issues since birth and Kaitlin has been a breath of fresh air for us, she treats my kids like her own, i'm never left with any questions unanswered or feeling rushed, she treats aggressively and accordingly, & extremely thorough,just as I like! She always sends referrals out for my girls if I feel like they need to see specialists and she is helping me along my journey with my youngest girl who has an auto immune disorder, which never would have been caught if Kaitlin hadn't referred us to Pediatric Infectious Diseases. We are forever grateful for her as our doctor & couldn't imagine going elsewhere for pediatric care. Rainbow feels like family for us & we are so thankful! read more

Overall we enjoy taking our baby to Rainbow Pediatrics. For us it's very conveniently located and easy to get to. When we were interviewing pediatricians we appreciated that the owner (Dr Reddy) was the one we met with. As first time parents she made us feel as ease and we liked that they aren't a large franchise. We like their vaccination policy and always have had easy time getting an appointment (routine or sick). I am giving it 4 stars because they don't have an ER should something happen overnight. They do have a doctor on call however it's obviously not an immediate answer always. Another reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because there's one (male) doctor who we just don't gel with. We wanted to do BLW and he completely dismissed the idea - no parent should have to feel like they aren't being heard. I later found out in a FB forum that he was supportive of other parents doing BLW and the inconsistency without logic/reasoning behind it didn't sit well with me. We just have our file notated to not see him and haven't had an issue since then. read more

I was 5 minutes late to My daughter's appt as the front desk, just like Jesus' tomb -- was empty. Apparently the iPad pillar with the flashing lights is the check in station. Just like mcDonalds. I have never had a complaint , doctors are amazing! But there is a front office worker with a DEEP deep cough, and she has been coughing up a storm the last two apmnts I have had! She sits on the phone and doesn't even wear a mask. VERY CONCERNING for a children's office mid Covid pandemic. I wasn't the only parent concerned in the waiting. Was told it was asthma, but I have suffered from asthma for years , have my inhaler and even the breathing treatments and I KNOW you don't go around coughing all the time. Kinda DEFEATS the purpose of the masks and signs they have on the door! It doesn't feel safe...Any other place is stricter on the workers, nevertheless a doctors office! We so enjoy bringing our kids to this office! Our family has been with them for over 5 years and we have had excellent service time after time. Good communicators if and when problems arise. Wait times have always been reasonable and the office staff is friendly. It can be hard to get an appointment with the favorite physicians (i.e. Dr Reddy) but we LOVE the nurse practitioners so much that it has never bothered us one bit! I took my daughter here to get her ears pierced and was very pleased. They were able to do a same day appointment. Every staff member was nice and polite, even the people who were not "treating us". The woman who did her ears took her time placing the dots and made sure I was happy with the placement. She had no problem at all when I asked them to be placed differently. She very thoroughly explained how the process would go and the "procedure" was very quick! I love how they do both ears at once! read more

Dr. Reddy and her team are wonderful! We ALWAYS feel welcome and never feel rushed. The staff takes their time to answer our questions and have gone above and beyond to help us when there has been a serious issue. The offices are clean and very kid-friendly. As a mom of 2 who has to juggle herself and her kids stuff sometimes things come up and have to be rearranged and I shouldn't be charged FIFTY DOLLARS for that. We love this team of professionals! We were previously seen on base, but when my son was born we needed to find a ped who accepted our private insurance. Rainbow has been extremely accommodating with our time. The best past, IMO, is that we've never had to wait a long time to actually be seen. I HATE when I have a scheduled appointment time and I'm still waiting to be seen by the physician, 45-1.5 hours AFTER the scheduled time. Rainbow has never kept me waiting more than 20 minutes, and that was a same-day appt. I appreciate that they respect their patients' time, and don't keep us waiting for long lengths of time after the scheduled appointment time. Their Hodges BLVD location is nice, clean and very colorful for the kids. We've been seen by a variety of the staff there, but mainly see Jocelyn for both of my children's well-visits. She's so energetic, kind, and informative! She's very thorough and makes sure to address every concern we've had. We saw Dr. Rivera, who clipped my 2-week-old baby's tongue tie, and he was incredible! Very calm, very fast and stuck around to answer any questions I had. The nursing staff is also top-notch! I had trouble with breastfeeding my second child, and one of the nurses took the time to review my latch and offer advice. She even called a week later to see how things were going...I felt, and still do, that she and the rest of the staff truly care about my children's wellbeing. My only (small) complaint is that they have a patient portal that is separate from the CHADIS system that they use for child development assessments. I often forget the logins for the two different systems - it would be nice to have one user-friendly system to complete everything in one place. Overall, this is a great team of professionals who seem to genuinely enjoy taking care of children. I am extremely happy with the services I've received and would recommend Rainbow Peds to other parents. read more

Dr. Prasanthi Reddy is absolutely AMAZING!! I've never been so pleased (I'm one picky mom) her staff is very friendly and if your child is sick they get you in the same day!! Dr. Reddy takes her time with each visit and really gives excellent advice!! My daughter (now 3) was seen the first week she was born!! Being a first time parent I was a nervous wreck!! In the middle of the night I had to call Dr.Reddy (a couple times) and she was there to answer my phone call and assure me everything was ok and what to do!!!!! When I had my second little girl (now 4 months old) Dr. Reddy and her staff were on their A game!! Wait time was 5-10 minutes before they got us back in a room to be seen!! I HIGHlY suggest Rainbow Pediatric!! Sadly we have moved due to military BUT if I could pack Dr. Reddy up, I would!!!! read more

Dr. Reddy was a compassionate and caring physician; so why the 1 star?! Well, good luck getting an appointment with her and her incompetent staff will quickly have you rethinking your choice. With the opening of her practice in Nocatee, new staff and new policies in place -- unless you make the decision to vaccinate your child in advance, you cannot be seen. Despite being a patient at their office for over 5 years (cant remember exactly), they insisted on discussing my daughter's care without seeing a medical professional in the lobby with other patients present. So much for patient privacy - they offer none. I explained to them - repeatedly in every which way possible; I went from calm, respectful, to angry and aggravated and frustrated with each person that insisted on discussing my daughter's health at te front desk. I wanted to talk to the physician. I wanted the professionals input on the immunizations necessary at this stage in her life, but they insisted and insisted. In the past we discussed the immunizations and I made decisions about what she'd receive based on the explanations and expertise. I refuse to rely on google. I value the opinion of the professionals that had been taking care of my daughter since infancy. We HAD a relationship with Dr. Reddy. My children felt safe and comfortable and are now unwelcome at the pediatricians office because I don't buy into the need to give every single immunization suggested. We recently moved to the area and needed to establish pediatricians for our 3 kids. More importantly, we needed our immunization records entered in Florida SHOTS since school would be starting just over a week later. We made the first available appointments (over a week out) and were told to bring their existing physicals and immunization forms down in advance and they would get them in to the system right away (the person on the phone asked someone, presumably a supervisor, who said this was fine). Upon arriving less than an hour later with said paperwork, we were told that they could not enter the info without the children being there (one of whom was with me) and they could not enter it in advance of their appointments which could not be scheduled until the following Friday, the business day before the start of school. I was not pleased to have been given the incorrect information over the phone or with how rude the person was who was at the desk when we arrived. I went back home, did some more digging and found the new University of Florida Peds office just down the road. Dr. Array was able to see the kids the following Monday and we were thrilled with her and her office staff. She had quick recommendations for other UF specialists that she knew well (for established medical issues among the kids) and I am now THANKFUL that Rainbow's ridiculousness led us to a much better alternative. A couple years ago, Nocatee may not have had a ton of options, but if you are new to the area, I highly recommend UF - they're awesome! read more

This doctors office does not care about you or your children. They don't want what's best for your children. They will not see any children who have not been vaccinated, even if you have been a patient since birth. Sadly, this seems to be the trend with many doctor offices. I went to rainbow pediatrics to get my ears pierced with my sister who was going to get her ears Pierced for the first time. We chose rainbow pediatrics because we thought it would be more professional. However it was not, in fact the nurses who did the piercing did not seem like they had the training. We ended up leaving with earrings that were at the bottom of the lobe and uneven. When I called to address the issue I was told I would have to pay again to have it corrected. Save yourself a trip and go to Claire's they are more experienced and do about 20 piercings a week or more. read more

Would Not Recommend! I can only speak for thee ear piercings and lack of customer service/satisfaction. I brought my daughter into the Nocatee location to have her ears pierced. Before piercing the nurse verified the marking for the piercing, however, she did not pierce it in the location we confirmed so one of them is good, the other is way off. I contacted the office a short while (week and a half) later to ask what they could do since it was the nurse's error and the piercing is at the edge of her ear lobe. First, I was told that I would have to pay let them heal for 3 weeks and then pay half to have them repierced, which I found ridiculous. Then I was told that I waited too long to contact them and there was nothing they could do. Customer satisfaction seems to not be a priority at this office and I would never come to this place again or recommend it to anyone. read more

I've been bringing my son to Dr. Reddy since he was born back when she was located off of Sutton Park in the Windsor complex. My midwife recommended me to her as someone who was more interested in partnering with parents to promote the health of children, rather than pushing a third party agenda. For the first couple of years I felt like my concerns were being heard and I was able to partner with Dr. Reddy to address my sons needs in a way I was comfortable with. However, after years of feeling like a part of my child's healthcare team we are now being kicked to the curb because we've chosen a path that doesn't meet third party standards (CDC). My son who's healthy, and happy is now being asked to leave this practice because as a parent I want to have control over what is injected into my child. I find it shocking that me, as a parent exercising my fundamental rights to make medical decisions for my healthy child has resulted in him being "discharged". The Supreme Court has ruled Vaccines, "unavoidably unsafe" it is completely shocking that a doctor I once trusted is now holding a parents right to choose hostages by threatening to fire a patient. Doctors take a oath to first do no harm. With laws such as The National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act of 1986 protecting Pharmaceutical companies and ultimately doctors... why is it unreasonable for me as a parent to protect my child? There's other ways to both build immunity, and to check immunity. Why hasn't this been offered to patients? I really hope Dr. Reddy changes her mind about such a discriminatory policy. Florida allows for a medical and religious exemption... Dr. Reddy should as well. read more

We absolutely adore Dr. Reddy and her staff! She is beyond brilliant, approachable and loving, and super fun. We have been with her practice for 12 years and if she would take adults, I would see her in a heartbeat. My son had a liver transplant when he was a baby and she got us in to see the very best specialists and even offered to go to Miami with us when he was transplanted. She has never missed a beat when it comes to his care or the care of my younger son (even as we hit the social aspects of puberty-she always has great advice). We love her stance on vaccinations and protecting patients like my son who are immunocompromised. My son relies on the "herd community" for protection from infectious diseases since he can no longer receive live vaccines. Dr. Reddy understands the importance of protecting these patients. We are forever grateful for her care and friendship. We love Rainbow Pediatrics! read more
