My mother wanted to shop here for something specific and wanted me to come along. It had been at least 18 years since I have been to this store. I think the last time I was at a Raindew, I purchased a giant Mets body pillow, which I still have and is in still great shape. The best way I can describe Raindew is it is a hodge podge of everything. I did not have any specific intentions of purchasing anything and was not searching for anything in particular. My mom takes forever to shop so I took my time walking through each aisle. I forgot how much of a variety of items they have here. There are so many aisles and two floors. But the aisles are super narrow! Anything you can think of, they have. Hardware, clothing, cleaning supplies, groceries, candy, decorations, kitchenware, auto supplies, etc. I was browsing the clothing more than other parts of the store in hopes of finding some cool NY representation but nothing was to my liking. The staff were pleasant. We did not interact much with them besides the cashier. I wound up purchasing St. Patrick's Day leggings and some candy. I was in shock they had British candy and snacks! There is enough parking in the lot right outside but it is shared with the supermarket and other stores. read more

This is a very dangerous store. My wife and I come here regularly ever since we moved into the neighborhood. If you can think of an item, Raindew probably has it. Maybe not the "best," but good enough. The first floor has a little bit of everything (from greeting cards, to sweets, to gardening equipment), while the lower level is more akin to a mini hardware store. There's also a pharmacy and a key maker. If you go inside this store, you WILL come out with more than you were looking for. Especially during post-holiday sales. Frankly, we're not sure what we'd do without this store; especially in light of the local CVS and Walgreens closing. It's a little rundown, but they've got a friendly staff and it's a great place to get supplies in an emergency. read more

I called to check if an item was in stock because it's a long walk from my area the young girl picked up and said hold then never came back then an older man picked up then did the same thing. Keep your eye out for their discounted items there are hidden treasures on occasion. You can shop up or downstairs for all your family needs. An absolute neighborhood staple. This store has EVERYTHING. If you can't find it, just ask a store associate and they will guide you to the right aisle. This store is jammed packed with holiday decor, knitting supplies, cleaning agents, European snacks and candies, toys, car essentials, bathroom and bath, books, clothing etc. It's the absolute essential store that every neighborhood must have. I've shopped at Raindew since I was a kid and it hasn't changed much. They're my go to store for making keys but this time I was disappointed. Not only did the kid walk away from me when I was at the key making counter, he then began stocking shelves. I got his attention and when he finally got to me they didn't even have the key I needed. These negative reviews are very suspect to me. A neighborhood store that has supported us during the whole pandemic is worthy of our support. TERRIBLE- I called in prior to dropping by to ensure that I am able to return my items without a receipt as I had thrown it away. I explained the situation to the worker and also advised her that tags are still on, but with no receipt. She said I could get a full refund, not a problem. When I arrived to return my items, the manager only allowed half off and with store credit- with the worker that took my call passing by and acknowledging my call and skewing the conversation. This is annoying more so because the drive isn't that close and I would have adjusted differently if the worker did not confirm that the refund was okay. All it takes is full transparency with proper details on the call... not making things up! That's poor customer service and now I took a loss for it. Cannot support any establishment that has inconsistencies in how things are handled. read more

Very convenient shopping even they have pharmacy. House wear and other stuff very reasonable price It's in a shopping center middle of the block. Most house wear is in the ground flour electrical and electronic stuff are available. A lot of selection of kids toys for reasonable price. I ideally but play dough they do have a great deals all times for play dough better than online and toys r us. Even dolls are in great price. Helpful stuff that will help you with your shopping. This Raindew has everything! To me it's like a mini Walmart. They have art supplies, car supplies, makeup, a pharmacy, holiday supplies, food, pet crap, "as seen on TV" section, tuppawear, clothes, shot glasses, plain tee shirts ranging in sizes S-XL in every color you can think of, bath towels, bathroom decor, an upstairs, a downstairs.....the list goes on. I thought my dad was BSing when he said he was going to take me to a Raindew that has EVERYTHING! If you don't feel like going to a huge super store, but want the same feel and luxury of being able to get a pair of jeggings, spray paint, a blow dryer, and crackers all in the same spot definitely come to this Raindew. This place has a small town feel-- workers are pleasant and polite. You can find all sorts of home goods and odds and ends here. Downstairs you can also get keys made. A franchised discount store so they do have an online site where you can order certain items for pickup if not available at your location. Pine pellets for one if you're looking for an alternative to clay litter-- I was able to order a 40 pound bag for pickup online about $8 which is a steal. I must admit I was excited to go to this store center. Sadly, I came away a bit disappointed. I receive the circulars on a regular basis at home. They're always advertising great low prices so I decided to stop by and give a look. The place is quite large and divided into 2 floors, a main and basement level. Theres also a Pharmacy located on the main level inside. The merchandise they carry range from your garden-variety 99 cent store items to a low level discount store. If you're familiar with the store "Amazing savings" you get a bigger bang for the buck over there. I have to give the customer service, cashiers and staff members 5 stars! Though you don't get a great deal here. I saw the customer service People do a great job helping people out. When the lines were getting long at the checkout counter. There were several times they paged over the PA sytem for all cashiers to report to the front, after that announcement no more long lines. I really wanted to love this place, but they got to give you better deals! read more

Where can I go to find a table cloth or those patches that you use to fix ripped jeans?? Some items that every now and again you need and can never find, you'll probably find them at Raindew. The store is filled with with such a variety of hard to find items. You can use it as a drug store, a hardware store, a garden store, toy store, auto supply or even a home store. Prices are decent, some of the cashiers aren't the most accommodating, but I can let that slide since Raindew always seems to have what I am looking for and sometimes what I didn't even know I needed. read more

I had the weirdest and most anger inducing series of incidents at this store yesterday, 11/8/16 evening at 5:00PM. I gathered some items from hardware for purchase. I went to the downstairs register to pay. A girl standing behind the counter told me the cashier had stepped into the restroom and I should go upstairs to check out my items...which I did. When my wife and I got upstairs, every cashier, save one, had removed her cash drawer for cash counting. I went to the cashier that was checking out someone and waited for my next. We were the only ones waiting and we waited ten minutes as this was going on. Then, a woman approached one of the other cashiers and asked about an item. The cashier (who was the girl who told me to go upstairs to pay for my items) proceeded to check the woman out. . I protested the fact that I was actually next in line. At this point my wife and I were verbally abused by each and every girl behind each and every counter telling us to: "wait your turn, get in line, wait for your turn in line", etc... It was a humiliating and anger provoking series of incidents that have convinced me and my wife never to enter that store again. read more

Last cashier checked me out, when she turned she had her face mask down, because she was kicking her fingers of whatever she was eating. I was so disgusted, left and called back for a store manager. Store mgr Areef (spelling) said "oh who the last cashier?" So he admitted to knowing the situation. He said it was a personal mistake. I said you already knew it was happening and did not correct it. This is a scam! Don't waste your time or money ordering online. I ordered a rather large shipment and never received it. I tried to give it extra time and grace because of Covid-19 but I still haven't gotten any of my order. I am writing this review because I want to save people time and money online. I am also writing it as proof for the BBB and my banks fraud department to add to the proof of payment while they try to get me a refund. While reading the other reviews maybe this place is OK in person but don't make an online order, you won't ever get it and like me could waste a lot of time and money.
