On March 14th Michael came to our house to talk to us about our plans. We felt that he understood what we wanted and looked forward to getting an estimate in a week or so. Three months and a few e-mails later we have neither an estimate nor a response to our emails. We understand this may have been a smaller project than what Michael normally takes on but he could have afforded us the common courtesy of a phone call letting us know he wasn't interested in this project. It's too bad because we have several other larger future projects that we thought we would have had Michael's Homes take care of for us.

The oversight of subcontractors from design to installation was excellent, and due to long standing relationships between John and these local companies. North Twin employees were top notch craftsmen and the office staff was well organized and kept us updated on orders and billing. John and his staff made routine site visits and any issues were rectified. Terrible service. Dennis came to my house and we discussed that my house needed to be jacked up…read morewhere the center was sinking. He looked in my crawl space and said yes we can Jack it up. Might not be perfect but we will take most of that sag out. Seven months later they finally showed up to do the work. They were here for 2 hours. They put a supplemental beam 4 feet from the center of the house that needed the support and at least 2 of the jacks holding the beam weren't even tight. I could wiggle them. I contacted them about this and they said I was never told they could Jack the house up. They returned and took their beam out and kept my down payment. And now I can't get a phone call or email returned. I believe they thought me being a single woman they were going to be able to take my money and run. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
