Raising Cane's isn't that great when you really think about the food-to-price ratio. The chicken is fine, the fries are average, and most of the flavor comes from the sauce. It's definitely not somewhere I'd go for an amazing meal. But it is one of those places your kids love. It's familiar, easy, and predictable, and sometimes that's the whole point. Add in a drive-thru that's always fast and efficient, and it becomes more about convenience and keeping everyone happy than the food itself. A lot of our friends kept telling us to go here so we finally did yesterday. They even had a Yelp event for Elites but unfortunately I could not make it to that but excited there will be more events in the area. Raising Cane's just had their grand opening a few months ago in this area so of course everyone is talking about it. Chicken is very good. The hubs and kids usually go to Popeye's for their chicken strips but they said Canes chicken is way better. Their sauce is very good. I do however think their chicken fingers need to be a little bigger for the price they charge lol but we will definitely go back. read more

My kids love raising canes. Its their go to over McDonald's any day. As for me, I find it to be just ok. The chicken it self could use a little seasoning. This is your standard chicken strips meal done right. The menu is limited so they can specialize in what they do best - chicken strips. The chicken strips are relatively basic but they are jazzed up with the dipping sauce. The crinkle cut fries are about what you'd expect but I like that you can do your own paper cup of ketchup instead of getting an excessive amount of ketchup packets. I love sweet tea and you can cut it with their unsweetened tea or order their lemonade, which is served from behind the counter. As you'd expect at a southern restaurant, the service is very good, servers are very friendly, and the food is served as soon as the chicken strips are out of the fryer. The location in Lodi is well decorated with lighting and disco balls overhead, plus it has an outdoor patio space and was not busy when we went. Definitely a solid fast food option and easy stop coming back from a day skiing at Kirkwood. read more

This is my first time at canes for my son's school fundraiser. I will not be returning. I ordered through drive through and customer service was good but when i opened my meal at home the size of the chicken was not even close to some of the pictures that have been posted here. I ordered the box, 2 orders of 3 finger combo, sandwich and kids meal combo. All of the chicken were the same size as the kids combo.. Not sure if this was normal until my sister who also went earlier today said that's not the regular size they usually serve. My combo meals also did not come with coleslaw like pictured. I went back to talk to the manager and manager was nice but needs more training. He stated that the chicken were all the same size and they come pre packaged. I just can't believe it since i see these other reviews here and seen the nice size chicken unlike mine. Manager asked if there's anything he can do but i was already so frustrated that i just left. He should already be offering me an alternative especially that i said Im a first time customer in my opinion instead of asking me. The price i paid was not worth the food i got. The menu is confining and you pay the price if you deviate. The menu just shows combo meals that tries to force you into the 3.50 fountain drink game. The person serving me at the counter was also working the drive thru and I could never tell if she was talking to me or the other person. I also couldn't tell if she was looking at me or my shoulder- very awkward. So my whole order got messed up and was made to go missing my drink, sauces and napkins. When my family was finally sitting and eating out of a to go bag I realized I spent close to 30 dollars for 10 strips, an order of fries and one drink. This location has very awkward parking in the middle of other parking areas. It's not bad chicken but it's also not worth half of what they charge. If I was to buy a full dinner for the family it would cost 75 bucks and everyone would still be hungry. Going back to the evil clown across the street next time. We have gone to cane's several times without a complaint until about a week ago when we got the worst food ever from there and may never return. My boyfriend ordered the chicken sandwich. The lettuce that was served on it looked like soggy seeweed when he pulled it off ( I honestly didn't remember them ever having lettuce ) before he took 2 bites the bun was falling apart. Also we weren't given any ketchup and normally they always toss it in. I ordered a 3 finger box and was given a children's meal? I must say no child would be very happy getting this. We both ordered sweet tea which has always been really good. My tea had no ice and my boyfriends had very little and neither were very sweet as normal. Very, Very Disappointed. May never return. We've visited this location several times now on our 2hr drive back home and it's still our favorite. The staff is very good at welcoming us in as we walk through the door. The cashier that helped us was Kelly who was new to us. She was extremely friendly and her smile brightened my day. There was an issue with my club card so called someone over to help. I didn't get his name but she said his name was RJ(?). He was just as friendly and helped her. He had patience and demonstrated his full support to Kelly. We've been hearing about Raising Cane's for awhile on the Woody Show and since we don't have one near us, we decided to give it a try! Tuesday afternoon a little after 11 am and there was no line at the drive-thru. Not too many options, which can be good for the indecisive ones! We ordered two chicken sandwich combos, one 3-finger combo, and one kids meal, total: $34.16. Fast service. Pulled over to eat and first bite into the sandwich ... first thought- juicy chicken! All other bites were very consistent. There was already sauce in the sandwich, but I added more. So delicious! First were also good, crinkle cut and fries to perfection! I'm so happy we stopped by to give it a try. This place looks pretty new. We're not from the area so not sure how long it's been open. Give it a try if you're in the area! My 11 year old thought it was hilarious when she heard, "Chicken, chicken, chicken, what combo are you pickin?" when her dad ordered awhile ago. Today I went there for the first time. Yes, the menu is small - just chicken fingers and chicken finger sandwiches. But so good. The chicken strips are juicy and you don't have to go searching for the chicken through a lot of breading. These have the perfect, crispy amount. They come with a sauce that's good, but I didn't use it. The chicken was very flavorful on its own. The crinkle cut fries are good, as is the Texas toast that comes with the meal. They also include a small cup of coleslaw with the 4 piece meal, but it needs something. Not sure what, but it's kinda bland. Then again, I'm not a coleslaw person so others may like it. The sweet tea is also very good. We'll be back for sure. read more
