Since I mostly drink beer I am writing this review from mainly that point of view. This is a relatively small shop and the selections for beer/spirits definitely reflects that, this is a wine focused shop, and if you are in the market for wine then this is a good place to shop. They have a great variety of wine, actually better than most stores that several times the size, and the employees are very knowledgable and have lots of recommendations to help you find the perfect bottle. I do most of my wine shopping here and it has always been great. The beer and spirits selection is pretty mediocre, they carry the standards from each category, but you won't likely find something rare or coveted. The big issue, especially when it comes to their beer, is it just doesn't move on the shelves. I've actually stopped buying a lot of my beer from them, especially IPA's because most of the ones on the shelves are several months old and close to, or past the best by date. If you are looking for fresh craft beer, I would look elsewhere.

I decided to pop in for the first time last summer, and was pleasantly surprised at how large it is once inside (looks fairly small from the outside). I stop in about once every two to three weeks to pick up the latest craft brew to hit the shelves, but have noticed that they have a very nice selection of liquor and wine. What earns this store an above-average rating are the people and service I've received. One of the gentlemen noticed that I was becoming somewhat regular after a couple months, and introduced himself as the resident Craft Beer Specialist. Ever since then, he pro-actively keeps me in the know when hot releases hit the store on the day of arrival. Another time, I was helped out by multiple people in the store while I was looking for a rare bourbon, including the co-owner, who provided me her personal business card and offered to help me obtain what I was looking for, even though the store did not currently carry it. The store is clean, bright and well-stocked, and pretty easy to navigate. It falls between "small mom-and-pop" size and "liquor-mega-store". Only thing keeping it from a full-pull five stars is the fact that the selection is slightly limited, likely due to size and traffic (or lack thereof) being a bit off the beaten path and, again, not a mega-store. They had what we needed, and while I didn't spend a ton of time shopping around, it appears the selection here is more than enough. Tons of beer, lots of wine, and all the other liquors out there. The staff seemed to be in good spirits (no pun intended) and it's easy enough to get in and out since it's in a large strip mall that sacrifices almost all aesthetic appeal for an oversized parking lot. All in all, I'm sure the nearby residents are glad to have this spot here and it was just fine what what we needed.
