I was also able to get a container of mango salsa which sells out quickly. - plenty of parking in the early morning can be quite chaotic in the later hours.

This is a really nice farmer's market!…read more You get the regular like veggies, fruits, bread, eggs, etc. But you also get a lot of not so common things that are all about eating healthy: homemade Kombucha, fresh 100% juice, snacks, honey, grenola....and much more. Absolutely worth to check out! And it is mostly local beacause of people who have enough guts to start their own business, that alone is a good reason to support them! It's open Wednesdays from 3-7pm, a few Saturdays as well. You can stop by after work, get good groceries AND have dinner there while listening to some live music. There is homemade food available, authentic indian food and pizza. Lots of seating and you get entertained by live music. What else do you want? Right, dessert! Guess what, they have it as well. Bring napkins because your mouth waters just by looking and these yummy sweet creations.

Indoor place with lots of food vendors and different knick knacks selling here and there. I ended up at Analog Coffee. It's a favorite of my friend whom I was visiting. I had a Hojicha Latte and we shared an Almond Croissant. Amazing how full a person can get on one drink and half a croissant. There are so many different options in this place. Wish I'd had more time, room in my stomach and room in my wallet to try more but this was the morning of my last day in Calgary. The one stall that really peaked my interest was a Vegan stall that had all sorts of Vegan options including frozen ones that you could bring home and put in your freezer. Frozen vegan Congee really caught my attention. I don't know anywhere in Vancouver that sells that! The stall was called Hearts Choices. They were offering samples of their product. They all seemed to be Thai flavors of soup and sauces. Everything I sampled was sooooo good. Wish they would open up in Vancouver. I was really curious about their frozen congee. If I lived in Calgary I would have definitely bought one and brought it home with me. Oh, I really wanted to try their Vegan Mac n Cheese but it comes with a slice of toast and there was no room in my tummy for all that as I'd already filled up on Hojicha Latte and Almond Croissant. I also saw a crepe place in the market that I'd have also loved to try and well...lots of other stalls as well. So many interesting food options here. Bought some Bing cherries, 2 bags of shucked tender corn on the cobs (6 per bag) for only $5.99/2 bags, BC Apricots, Apples, Papaya, Tomatoes, Oranges, a whole box of 12 mangoes = total bill came to only $37!! That's reasonably cheaper than Safeway or Superstore. The corn niblets were so tender and sweet! The mangoes, sweet as can be! I will be back to shop here when I'm in the NE.
