From the front desk staff, to the hygienist, to the dentist, everyone was so friendly and helpful. Andrea, my hygienist, was SO gentle. I've always had a difficult time with dental scans, but she made it so quick and painless. The cleaning was very thorough and I was comfortable throughout the entire time. The dentist was also very thorough with her exam and made additional recommendations with dental care, not pushing any particular products, but ones she personally recommended. I'm extremely pleased to have found a dental office I don't dread going to. Highly recommend this place if you are in search for a dentist in the area!

Also, the lack of knowledge on genetic disorders and other health related disorders/issues is concerning with these dentists as well. Shame on this place. As someone with EDS I deal with enough doctors already that have a lack of knowledge with my genetic condition. Dr PAG really seemed to pride herself on the knowledge she has on Ehlers Danlos, and had nothing to show it. None of their dentists seem to be up to date on these things. Instead they shame patients and blame it on poor oral hygiene. Please avoid this place because they are just interested in making money off of their patients.

I often wondered how someone could consistently provide such poor customer service and still keep her job...then I figured it out. You can't fire the owner. However, what kept me going back, was I thought I had a good doctor. I wanted to stay with a good dentist for the day when I was going to need some major work. Well that day came and he did a crown. After several weeks, I was still experiencing sensitivity on the crowned tooth. When I called the office, the front desk issued me a referral to an endodontist. The doctor never called or spoke to me to explain what was going on. The issue was just dismissed with a referral to go pay someone else, after I just paid him to put in a crown. Well, of course, I didn't need an endodontist. It was just a poorly placed crown, because the temporary crown had no sensitivity (which I explained to them when I called). That was confirmed when I asked another dentist to take a look. He found that the crown did not go to the full length of the tooth, and that my dental insurance would not cover any further work, because they say crowns are supposed to cover the entire tooth. Anyway, he performed a repair, and I did have to pay out of pocket.

I'm glad I did! The office is brand new, pleasantly decorated and incredibly comfortable. I actually felt like I might doze off in the dentist chair... Certainly a first for me. The staff was organized, efficient and very friendly. They greeted me with geniune smiles, gave me a welcome packet and didn't keep me waiting forever in the lobby. The dentist and his assistant were also great. Very personable and professional. They gave my teeth a thorough cleaning without any pain or discomfort, then sent me home with a goody bag of toothpastes, floss, toothbrush, etc. Just 1 word of advice to the ladies, Dr. Cahoon is HOT so make sure you explain that the excessive drooling is not a pre-existing condition. ;)

From the paperwork all the way to the night guard at the end. They replaced both of my front teeth with crowns and used some new fangled high tech scanner computer to take 3-D scans of my teeth for the process. But it's not just this procedure that stands out. I mean, they came out better than I expected by far. But. I have been seeing Dr. Toyer and Dr. Toyer and their team for five years now. I can't remember a single doctors office ever that I've felt more at home. Everyone knows you by name. The pride Dr. Toyer takes in his work is evident from the start to the finish. And he's real hip too. Completely up to tomorrow on the newest tech to make your procedure a breeze. Oh and they do amazing with pediatrics. My toddlers love going to see them! My daughter had a major procedure done here today and Evie, Aritza and two other ladies (I don't recall their names) made it so amazingly smooth. My appointment s for 3 and after paperwork I made it to the back but my actual procedure didn't start till after 4:30. The surgeon apologized and said she was back led up. I want in a rush, lol. The procedure took 20 mins or so. I felt zero pain aside from the shots to get me numb. Afterwards the assistant was very thorough w my treatment plan and patient so typed my questions on my phone for her to read.

I called the dental office and told them there was no way I was going to pay all they did was x-rays and that the dentist a couple of didn't even clean my teeth. The lady has spoke with said that she was going to speak to someone and have money removed from the debt.. I told her there is no way I'm paying $300 when I had nothing done. I need to make sure you hear me when I say she's honest, She won't be shady about your dental exam, revealing something wild like 11 cavities. Yes, true story, this actually happened to me. However, when I saw Dr. Chang, she could not find these 11 cavities :-) She commended me on my dental hygiene, and sent me on my way. These qualities are so hard to find in one dentist, and I honestly saw a string of not-so-great dentists before seeing her. This makes me appreciate her even more! I am a nurse and a soon-to-be dietitian, so I'm very selective about the healthcare providers I see. And I'm so grateful to have found Dr. Chang!
