Since these are work boots and not house slippers I said yes. The manager said there's nothing he could do since I had worn my work boots outside. This is the St Peter's location. Just wanted to let everyone know about this policy. If you buy boots from Chucks don't wear them outside for the love of god.

First thing's first…read more I'm not a fashionable man. Whatever success I have with fashion can be attributed to my lady helping me out. On the occasion I do shop for myself, I tend to enjoy t-shirts and hoodies. It just happens that the good people of SwedLife have plenty of those items. SwedLife hasn't been around very long but they make up for it with plenty of personality and style. The first thing you'll usually notice are the owners Lucas, Seth and Mark (the resident Style and Sneaker expert). They are very quick to offer assistance if you need anything or have questions. If you are not a person into sneakers, fitted hats or snapbacks then it can be a bit much. However, the gentlemen can put your fears at ease pretty quickly as they are very relaxed and patient. Also they have all sorts of choices size wise. The shop isn't a very large place but they make great use of the space and the walls are brimming with artwork done by local artists. As a fan of hip hop, I love that they are constantly playing the newest and greatest music from national and local artists. If you don't know about the local scene or the even the next show, they can fill you in pretty quickly. Also they Sneakerheads as well (aka Sneaker Collectors). They are all experts but Mark is your guy if you need to know about the latest and greatest. In regards to price, it's not a cheap place to shop sadly. You can easily drop some major cash here if you aren't careful. The brands they carry aren't cheap but they are usually the only ones that carry those brands. The alternative is that you can order online so it isn't a bad deal. All and all, SwedLife is in a prime location and has a lot going in regards to it's personality and fashion. Some people might not be into the music or even the style, but if you do graviate towards that style SwedLife is one of your best options in St. Louis.

I scored a great pair of jeans for $90, less than half the price they would have been online. They have tons of great t-shirts, button ups, sweaters, coats, etc, all from designers I love. And the prices are awesome. I will say, pass on SwedLife if you're the type of person who uses "hipster" as a four-letter-word. You'll know as soon as you walk in if this is the store for you. I had a very disappointing experience with HatLaunch…read more The biggest issue was communication. Throughout the process, responses were slow, questions went unanswered, and it often felt like nobody was actually reading what I was sending. On multiple occasions I had to repeat information that was already provided in previous emails. The final product was also nowhere near the quality I expected. While the digital proof and sample images looked great, the finished hats did not. Several letters in the embroidered logo were poorly executed, with some characters appearing distorted and difficult to read. The "S" in particular looked more like a "5" than a letter. The alignment of the lettering was inconsistent, and overall craftsmanship fell well below what was represented during the approval process. I also raised concerns about the appearance of the embroidery during the sample stage and never received a direct answer. Instead of addressing the concern, I was simply sent different sample images. What was most frustrating was the response after I complained. Rather than acknowledging the obvious quality issues shown in the photos I provided, the company repeatedly fell back on the argument that the product matched the approved proof. A proof is intended to show design placement and layout--it is not an excuse for poor embroidery execution or quality control failures during production. To their credit, they eventually offered to accept a return for a refund. However, after spending significant time going back and forth, receiving a product that did not meet expectations, and then having to fight to be taken seriously, the overall experience was extremely disappointing. I chose HatLaunch because I wanted a professional product for my company, SubPar. Unfortunately, the final result and customer service experience did not reflect the standards I expected from a professional embroidery provider. I would not use HatLaunch again and would recommend others request physical production samples and closely inspect embroidery quality before placing a large order.
