I haven't stayed there personally, but I can give you the lowdown based on what I found on the property talking to the owner and some guests I ran into and joked around with. First off, the owner is a real go-getter, ambitious, always looking to expand and improve. I love that entrepreneurial spirit! It's exciting to hear about the future business ventures they have in mind. Who knows what kind of cool stuff they'll come up with next? Now, let's talk about the property and the BnBs. Apparently, so the owner and his team built everything themselves, and from what I've seen, they did an incredible job. The attention to detail is top-notch, and the interior of those tiny houses is supposedly mind-blowing. I mean, who wouldn't want to stay in a cozy little space that looks amazing? But wait, there's more! On the premises, they've got a sports bar, a cigar bar, a coffee shop, and food coming soon? That's like a one-stop shop for all your relaxation needs. You can kick back with a cold one, enjoy a fine cigar, sip on some delicious coffee, and satisfy your hunger all in one place. It's like a mini vacation wonderland! Now, here's the catch, my friend. These rooms are apparently very affordable, but you gotta be quick on the draw if you want to snag an extended stay. They fill up faster than a Conor McGregor knockout. Some said there were some designated smoke areas but it seems like people smoke anywhere regardless. People are also dressed like they're just going to walmart or something. There were actually other eating places here, but we went for the Riverwind Buffet. Unfortunately, the rules were not really upheld because it was mentioned that the whole party must be in line but some people in front of us kept going in and out of the line. Not really the fanciest buffet compared to the ones I've been to especially Las Vegas. The selection is also very limited and personally the only best thing here is the Snow Crabs and their good selection of desserts. The calamari may be a good contender. Thankfully my baby loves their one and only soup which is the Broccoli and Cheddar. Unfortunately, even their one and only best thing had issues for me. I felt like some of the served crabs were not fresh and it gave off a really bad smell and weird taste giving me the impression that they've gone bad already. So, I would advise people not to just eat the crabs willy nilly without properly assessing it. Wish they had a cracker and some gloves to offer as well to help with eating the crabs especially the claw part. The server that we had was kind and attentive but lost our receipt. Thankfully the lost receipt wasn't an issue during our stay. The ambiance, like I said, isn't the best compared to other buffets to the Casinos I have been to in the Philippines and Las Vegas. Like personally, unfortunately, the Philippines Casino and Buffet is heaps better and most of the Casinos (which is most I have been to) in Las Vegas is like miles away from the Riverwind Casino and thats also in terms of their Buffet and ambience. It could have been better being one of the only few Casinos near OKC. One major complaint I have is the lack of bathroom inside the buffet area as it only had a one room/stall for each gender. Like you have to go outside the buffet to use the bathroom and even wash your hands if you can't wait for it. Thankfully the bathrooms in the casino area seems to be well taken care of as someone keeps cleaning it. The way to the bathroom in the buffet area is also disgusting as you would see all the left overs and unwashed plates on the way there. Overall, for a family birthday celebration, it was still okay and not the worst but not the best. Despite the crab issues, it is still worth coming back for it as the price justifies it especially if you love crabs (which is only available on Saturdays). Would definitely advise you all to come early as we spent majority of our time (like probably 1-2 hrs) waiting in line for the buffet.

There was no safe in our room that I could find, so we kept our valuables on us at all times. Apart from the rooms, on check in we had some hiccups with the staff who had issues with our check in process, so we had to wait around for 10 minutes while they resolved things. Afterwards, they realized they did not have us do an incidental, so they had to call us to bring us back to the front desk to get it from us several hours after we checked in. They said we could come by at our convenience, but we received two more phone calls within half an hour while we were out enjoying our time. Their mistake became our problem, and we did not appreciate that. Aside from that, the staff throughout the hotel were friendly and welcoming. I felt very happy talking with most of the staff there for anything we needed. The hotel itself is nice, with its common areas and casino area very clean. There was no smoking inside so we enjoyed breathing clean air when we visited the casino. There is a grill that is open many hours of the day there, and a dinner restraint as well is open in the evenings. Today is July 24, 2025…read more I stayed here 2 nights recently. Monday-Wednesday morning. Took my 6 year old and we enjoyed the waterpark and overall it was fun for him. BUT upon initially going into our cabin (#3) I noticed a musty mildew type smell. I thought it was probably from the age on the place and it seemed clean so I wasn't too worried about it. Fast forward to Tuesday afternoon and I started scratching at what I thought was a mosquito bite on my jawline. Later that evening I noticed several more bites that I thought were mosquitos but I had not seen a single mosquito in the several days we had been in Wichita Falls... odd! Wednesday morning I had more bites, all slowly swelling and getting redder and itchier and I spotted the culprit. A BED BUG! We were having fun and considered extending our stay but after that I quickly packed and could not get out of there fast enough. It's now Thursday night and I have at least 21 nasty itchy bites on me, slowly swelling, getting redder and larger every day and I'm googling bed bugs. They are on my hand, face, arms, back, neck and shoulders. I still have new ones showing up and they may not all show up for 14 days! I told the young woman at the front desk when I checked out and she did not seem all that concerned about it. I wrote a message through the website's portal and have not received a response. I am writing this review with hopes that someone takes this seriously and does something about this. The musty smell I was smelling is typical of a bed bug INFESTATION! Wish I had known that 4 days ago! My 6 year old has a small red spot on his face and I am overwhelmed with concern that he has bites that may not react and/or show up for another 2 weeks! This place needs a serious treatment from a professional pesticide applicator and all of the bedding, mattresses, box springs, furniture probably needs to be burned! DO NOT STAY IN CABIN #3 OR ANY OF THE CABINS CONNECTED TO IT! CHECK FOR BED BUGS! If you smell musty/mildew turn around and leave! My boy had so much fun but I am so disappointed!
