Ramen Nagi is a ramen spot that puts a lot of focus on customization and bold flavors. We walked into a lively atmosphere where the experience starts with choosing your ramen style, noodle type, spice level, and other preferences, making the meal feel more personalized compared to a standard ramen order. The ordering process is clearly explained, which is helpful for first time visitors, and the energy in the room stays high even as the restaurant handles a steady flow of customers. The ramen itself is the main attraction, with rich and flavorful broths that lean toward a more intense style. The Original King Ramen is a good representation of what Ramen Nagi does well, with a deep tonkotsu base that has a strong savory flavor. The spicy ramen is another standout if you enjoy heat, since the spice adds another layer without completely taking over the broth. The customization options for spice and noodles make it easy to adjust the bowl depending on your preference. The chashu and pork belly toppings are also worth adding, since they bring extra texture and richness to the bowl. The karaage chicken is a good side option as well, with a crispy exterior that pairs nicely with the heavier ramen. Service was friendly and efficient during our visit. The staff explained the ordering process clearly and helped with the customization options, which made the experience smoother. Once seated, the food came out quickly, and the restaurant handled the busy flow of customers well. The dining space can feel packed at times, but the faster turnover helps keep things moving without making the experience feel rushed. Ramen Nagi is a solid choice if you enjoy ramen with bold flavors and plenty of customization. The broths are rich, the toppings add variety, and the ability to adjust your bowl makes it easy to find a combination that works for you. It is the type of ramen spot that is worth visiting when you are craving something hearty and full of flavor, delivering a meal that feels tailored to your preferences while still maintaining the quality and depth that make a good ramen bowl memorable.

This ramen place always has a line!!!! Whenever we go to the mall, we see the line wrapped out front. This time, we got to the mall by 11:30 and were immediately seated for 6 of us. Ordering is simple since they give you a sheet of paper and market to pick your ramen selection from broth, noodles, spice level, toppings, etc. The ramen is tasty and the broth is quite thick and yummy! I like the thick noodles over the thin ones. I liked the customization of everything. Meal comes out relatively quickly since it's ramen. The gyoza is tinyyyyyy. Ahahha! I thought it was vey cute but was surprised at how small they were. But otherwise good. The middle portion of the table has various toppings and whatnot to share for the table. Also, since we got a longer table, we ended up sharing it with other guests. The restaurant had its own bathrooms.

Ramen Nagi has become one of my go-to ramen places when I have a craving. I've been to the one in South Coast Plaza and now this one, in Arcadia. Both are equally enjoyable. I don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu. The broth is extremely rich, flavorful, filling, and warms the belly. You have the option of choosing the level of oil, as well as the firmness of the noodles, when you order. For me, I max the oil option with the firm noodles (my personal fav). The gyozas are a must order. They're small but packed with a nice crunch and meaty flavor; the perfect appetizer or side dish. The chicken Karaage is very hearty and meaty, so if you need something more to satisfy your hunger, get the karaage. Service is quick and friendly, but there's usually a line to get into the restaurant so be forewarned. Will return soon.

As one of the employees said: "Once you have this ramen, you can't have any other." And they weren't wrong. I never craved ramen until this place. Do not let the line out of the door fool you, you will be sat quickly and food is served just as fast. The first time I ever went there, we were offered bibs which were so helpful. The second and third time, no bibs! Wish we did get bibs as slurping the noodles is essential. I recommend trying the karaage chicken, it is sweet and delicious, especially when hot!

My husband and I come here whenever we're craving ramen and it never disappoints! We always get the original king with heavy garlic and it's so good every single time :D We also order pork gyoza which is the perfect complimentary side as well! The ambiance is casual but we love the open wooden interior and watching them make the ramen in the open kitchen! Don't let the line scare you off either, it moves way faster than it looks. Service is always friendly too - this is hands down our favorite ramen spot and we're so lucky that it's a short drive from our house :)

Wow. Ramen Nagi , I have been missing out. I remember when they first opened and I barely got to try it. I tried their Original King Ramen , Gyozas , and Karaage Chicken. All of these items were beyond amazing. The ramen had to be the best ramen I have ever had. The broth was rich and flavorful , noodles were cooked perfectly , chashu was perfectly tender , soft boiled egg was jammy and runny. The gyozas were great. I love how they pan fried it and made it extra crispy while still being soft and flavorful on the inside. The karaage was so juicy and good; squeezing lemon to it definitely adds a nice brightness to it. Service was so good! Everyone was so nice and explained the menu clearly. We were seated pretty fast at the bar. Food came out fast as well. Ambiance is great! A clean restaurant that is nicely decorated to make you feel like you're not even in the Santa Anita Mall. Overall, would LOVE to come back again.

Red king (pork broth with spicy miso (tonkatsu)

Came back to Ramen Nagi in Arcadia for a second visit with my bro and it honestly confirmed why this spot has become one of my favorite ramen places. I ordered the Red King again with the tonkotsu pork broth, light on salt and oil, regular thin noodles, and pork belly. The broth was still rich and flavorful without feeling too heavy, especially with the lighter customization. The noodles had a great texture and the pork belly was tender and satisfying. We also got the chicken karaage as an appetizer, and it was crispy, juicy, and a great starter before the ramen came out. Service was excellent from start to finish. Our food came out just minutes after ordering, which was impressive considering how busy the place gets. Our waitress also checked on us throughout the meal and made sure everything was good without being overbearing. The ambiance is really nice and clean. It gives off the feeling of being in an authentic ramen house with a lively but comfortable atmosphere. Even when busy, it still felt organized and welcoming. The biggest downside is definitely parking. Since it's located in the mall, finding parking can be a mess and probably the most challenging part of coming here. Overall, this spot continues to impress me and I'll definitely keep recommending it to friends and family.

We were in line at around 1pm and we weren't there for very long. After maybe ten minutes, an employee asked us if we really wanted a table or if we'd be okay with sitting at the bar. We opted for the bar and were allowed through the velvet rope. Joy! The bar had ample space for both of us. To a certain degree I preferred it to a table because all the condiments, table napkin box and pitcher of water were all securely nestled against the wall. On the table, they always sat so precariously. Anyway, the ramen always satisfies. I love that I can get my noodles extra firm. That heartier chew is integral to the experience and balances the umami of the broth. My hubby's chashu pork dish was a generous portion. We left full. Love this restaurant!

    Red King - thin noodles

An great spot to satisfy my ramen craving! I like how you can customize the ramen to your liking. I chose the red king and my friends chose the original king. The ramen soup base is good. It was light but would prefer a little bit more of richness. I chose the thin noodles. It was chewy, not too soft and a little firm. Kakuni (pork belly) was ok and not how I like my pork belly. I wished I chose the chashu instead. Overall, I thought it's a very decent spot. I would like to try it again maybe in a different soup, different noodle texture and get chashu instead. We came on a weekend so there was a bit of a line but not a horrible wait time. They will give you a paper to fill out your order while in line.

    Jessica T.

Located in the Santa Anita mall next to the Macy. You can customize your ramen to your liking. I got the original ramen base and it was solid. The service was quick. For payment, you have to go up to the counter to pay. The store was had a nice ambiance and was decently size with plenty of table options.

    Alyssa L.

Super solid spot in the area for ramen. Ordering is super easy - while you're in line to be seated you just mark down all your ramen customizations so there's no need to think when you're seated. We really love the condiments (especially the bean sprouts) which are super flavorful and crunchy - great on their own or with the ramen. Service was friendly and helpful and we'd definitely be back. The two of us ordered: - Original King, less salt with pork belly (4/5): pork belly came out really good and marinated but were much thicker cuts than expected. Otherwise a classic tonkatsu ramen that was decent portions. Wish it came with an egg though. - Black King, less salt and oil with extra chashu (4.5/5): The squid ink enriches the already strong umami flavors. My bf liked that his noodles were firm with a nice chew. The wood ear mushrooms were a fun crunchy texture.

    Amy L.

I like the thinly sliced cha siu as it doesnt get stuck in my teeth. I like adding the white vinegar into the broth and eat it with the bean sprouts. Portion wise, its good for me as i usually finish it all. I feel like their karage chicken is wayy to saucey now. Their mayo is good though, it has pieces of egg in it. They have these little cups for water and if you get soda its in the same small cups. Its cute but too small since i have to keep pouring water after every few gulps. Wait times are usually pretty quick and most people eat and leave so even if there seems to be a long wait, its not bad. Still one of my favorite ramen spots.

    Original king with cabbage
    Selene S.

Came for dinner and there was a short wait at 6pm. Staff was very friendly and explained the menu and ordering process to us. Ambiance was busy as usual. They were efficient in bringing out the food though. Water was already at the table. You bring the check to the front to pay when ready. I got the original king again. Price went up since the last time I was here, now $16. Portion stayed the same though. I tried it with cabbage this time.

The first thing we noticed when walking in was TBaar, a boba tea shop. The ramen restaurant is located right next door inside the same space. What surprised me was that their menu includes Taiwanese-style gua bao and popcorn chicken! It feels like an Asian fusion concept created with the American market in mind. This is currently their only location in California, with another location in Las Vegas. Most of their other locations are on the East Coast and in Illinois. The interior is definitely unique, with large lanterns, archways, honeycomb-style seating, individual dining areas, and lots of decorative details throughout the space. Luckily, we arrived before 6 PM and got seated right away. Not long after we sat down, a crowd started coming in and there was already a line forming. After looking through the menu for a while, we decided to order: #1 Tokyo Tonkotsu Shoyu Ramen (Black Garlic) $17.99 (They mentioned this one has sold over 500,000 bowls nationwide.) My husband ordered this one and tried all the broths. He thought this had the best flavor overall. #2 Braised Pork Belly Ramen $18.99 (This was one of their featured menu items in 2024.) This was my choice. The noodles were generous, and the pork belly was so dark in color that it almost looked like beef. We actually had to double-check that it was pork! #3 Mega Ramen (Tempura) $19.99 The garlic flavor was quite strong in this broth. #6 Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen $18.99 (This is one of their most popular choices in New York.) It does have a noticeable level of spice, so if you can only handle a little heat, this one might not be the best choice. Side dishes: Gua Bao (2 pcs) $9.49 Popcorn Chicken (3 orders) $26.97 Pan-fried Dumplings $8.99 Japanese Fries (2 orders) $15.98 Strawberry Banana Smoothie $6 One fun detail: the bottom of each ramen bowl has a message showing either a prize or a "thank you for visiting." Out of our four bowls, one came with a dessert coupon, but it can only be used on a future visit. Overall, the ramen was pretty good and the presentation was fun. The only downside was that my mouth felt quite dry afterward, probably because the broth was on the heavier side. Kyuramen x TBaar - Arcadia 7 Las Tunas Dr Suite B, Arcadia, CA 91007

I especially liked the beehive-style seating. It gives each table a little more privacy, making it a great place for date night. Or, in our case... another mommy-and-me date night. I was a little disappointed they didn't serve hot tea as I always order a hot cup of tea with my meal. We ordered two A1 Classic Combos ($24.99 each). Each combo came with a bowl of Tokyo Tonkotsu Shoyu Ramen, a steamed pork bao bun, and matcha pudding with red bean. Tokyo Tonkotsu Shoyu Ramen The broth was rich and creamy. Overall, the ramen was okay. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. Steamed Pork Bao Bun The bun was soft and fluffy, and the pork was tender. Even then, I wouldn't say it was amazing. It was simply the highlight of the meal. Matcha Pudding with Red Bean Neither my daughter nor I liked this dessert. The service could improve. Aside from bringing out our food, there wasn't much interaction with the staff.

You're welcomed into a cozy apace that has some decorative elements even to the music choice. Reminds me of our trip to japan, which I MISS SO MUCH! The Food Takoyaki: $8.95. 4/5 Stars. - Comes in 5pcs with sauce and bonito flakes. I liked how the outside was a bit crunchy and inside was fluffy! Karage: $8.95. 5/5 Stars - Comes in 5pcs. The sauce was tangy sweet kind of like teriyaki sauce. It was crispy but still so juicy and soft. HANDS DOWN GET THIS! Loved it so much I could have a whole bowl Tsukemen: $22.45. 5/5Stars - If you aren't familiar with this, the broth is separate from the noodles. Its a different way of experiencing noodles. The broth is thick, creamy and flavor profile is on point. Inside of the broth there is mushrooms and pcs of pork. The noodles are cooked perfectly and also comes with pcs of nori, soft boiled jammy eggs and 4 pcs of thick chashu. Portion size lets just say they are generous and we all can EAT ^^, Kakigori (MATCHA) $8/$14. 5/5 Stars - Definite MUST! Its made with Japanese shaved ice, a very creamy soft cream matcha sauce and matcha powder! I cant tell you how good this dessert is. The wife is obsessed and one if the main reasons why we found this spot in the first place. Please try! Service: - Super friendly staff! They are quick to get our order and serve our meal. I asked for more limes for my noodles 2x and both times they were quick. Made us feel very welcomed and checked in on us on a regular, which also reminded us of the service Japan showed us once upon a time. Overall: We love this place and we keep coming back with new people to share this type of noodle experience. Check them out im sure you will enjoy it. Lets just say we drove an hour to eat this. You def will not be disappointed :)

I had a weekend dinner at Tsujita LA Artisan Noodle with our group of four back in March 2025. The…read moreother two ordered tsukemen ($26.50 for the spicy deluxe and $23.50 for the spicy chasu) and found it very salty because they chose to consume it not by dipping the noodles in the bowl of broth, but rather by pouring all the broth from the bowl into the noodles, trying to recreate a normal bowl of ramen. I can't speak for them, but I will say, if you order the tsukemen and find that you want more dipping broth, that will be an extra charge. Order a regular bowl of ramen if you do not plan to dip the brothless noodles into the broth for each bite. BF and I both tried the spicy tuna bowl ($7.95), chashu bowl ($8.95), and tonkotsu ramen ($15.95). The bowls are a little smaller than the ramen bowls and are a great option if you want a light meal without feeling super full. The tonkotsu ramen had a slightly rich broth that was flavorful and a decent portion of noodles. We opted not to order the ramen with the egg since we were also trying the rice bowls. The three items were more than enough for the two of us and a good variety of food. Parking here is horrible at the street level, so head downstairs for the two levels of underground parking.

We love that they do weekend lunch special, and we specifically come for that. The sushi lunch combo always includes generous, thick slices of fresh fish and a good variety. This last time, we even got a huge scallop nigiri in our combos! We also ordered a roll and an order of takoyaki to share this time around, and both hit the spot. Interior is classy, clean, and comfortable. Service can be a little slow depending on how busy it is (on a Saturday during lunch, our 3 sushi combos arrived like 15 minutes after my grandma's chicken udon), but that speaks to the made-to-order quality, so I'm not too bummed. Overall, as a sushi fanatic who doesn't like to break the bank each time we go out, this is my go-to and we'll be back every time we're in town.

From the first moments, we were impressed by the atmosphere, the beautiful menu presentation, and the great variety of dishes. When our food arrived, we were absolutely amazed The rolls and sushi were incredibly fresh, delicious, and beautifully served. You can really feel the attention to every detail and care for the guests. We will definitely come back again and recommend this place

You walk in thinking, "I'll just grab a quick bowl," and suddenly there's a noodle master stretching dough like he's training for the Olympics. Their Lanzhou-style noodles? Fresh, chewy, and honestly a little too good--they'll ruin instant ramen for you forever. The Lan noodle soup is so rich and savory. The died mixed noodle feels like a warm hug... if hugs came with chili oil and a kick that sneaks up on you. It's a small, busy spot, so yeah, you might wait--but don't worry, the line moves fast. Plus, it gives you time to emotionally prepare for choosing your noodle shape. Thin? Wide? Triangle? This is not a decision to take lightly. One wrong move and you'll be thinking about it halfway through your bowl like, "I should've gone wider."

I like how they have expanded their menu with additional options other than simply noodle options…read more We tried their pork pan fried dumplings (3/5) since the skin was overpoweringly thick, but the filling was decent. They have a small and large sweet and sour chicken rice plate. I had gotten the small size just to try it out, but it was surprisingly good (5/5). The pork sandwich bun was decent (4/5) since the beef was tasty but the sandwich bun could be better. We also had the traditional beef noodle soups with either the wide flat and triangle ones. You can't go wrong with these freshly made pulled noodles, and they are very hearty portions. Flavor is good and the beef is very tender. The smashed cucumbers were decent also (4/5), but nothing spectacular about them. Service is very quick, attentive and pleasant. This is a good go to spot for a quick meal. The dining room doesn't seat a lot of people so try not to come during busy dining hours on weekends to avoid a long wait.
