We came here to bring our newborn son and the staff was very friendly! From the staff at the front…read moredesk to the nurses and doctor! Everyone was kind and very informative. They answered all of our questions and made us feel comfortable. They took good care of our son with his first check up and even offered us the room for me to nurse him before our ride back home!

They were okay, the appointments seemed a bit rushed but it was okay. The patient portal app was…read morenice to use to see our appointments and all the info on my child from each appointment. The biggest problem arose at my baby's 2 month appointment. They are very pushy about vaccines, and adherence to the CDC schedule. We wanted to do a delayed schedule (yes we wanted all the vaccinations, but we just wanted to space them out a little) but our dr was very firm with it and told us that we either had to do all 5 vaccines at once that day or we must leave and find a new ped for reason of "failure to vaccinate our child." I tried to talk with her about spacing them out but she just immediately shut me down about it and tried to scare me and push me into doing it. I had to sign a paper saying I wasn't doing what was best for my child and that I wasn't vaccinating my child. Even though all I wanted was a little space between vaccines. So we left and found a new pediatrician who actually listens and takes time with their appointments and answers my questions thoroughly. Our new pediatrician doesn't push the vaccine schedule and allows us to space them out how we (the parents) see fit. They work with us in our child's care, not against us like Pediatric Associates does. If you're okay with quick appointments and the CDC vaccine schedule then Pediatric Associates is the way to go, but there are better options out there.

Had my baby's follow-up appointment today, 6/13. The doctor saw my baby 6/11 for the initial…read moreappointment. Upon walking into the office today, the front desk asked us to sign in, and the first words she utters are "you're late". Yes, our appointment was scheduled for 11:15am. Yes, we are checking in at just after 11:30am. But if my baby is showing signs of hunger at 10:58am, you better believe I will feed my child rather than deal with Armageddon to arrive on time. Next, she refers to my child as a boy when that's incorrect, then even says "I don't know how to say this baby's name" while on the phone with billing. What could've been done is to put yourself on a moments hold and ask me "I'm sorry, but how do you pronounce your baby's name?" I don't know, but that's just customer service training, and an individual with common courtesy, would maybe do. When we're finally taken to the back, the staff and doctor are telling me to sit down to help with my postpartum swelling, telling us how baby is doing great, and even offer the nursing room towards the end of our appointment when signs of hunger are apparent. A completely different experience from our arrival. But that's not to say it was the same during our initial visit. During our initial visit, the front staff were understanding and joked with us that it's expected, especially with new parents, to run behind schedule, so we shouldn't feel stressed. Someone working the front desk today obviously missed the memo. It was a completely night and day experience.

After both children being in a roll over accident with a semi truck we were told Kids First does not do follow ups after car wrecks and if we have any concerns to take them back to the ER.
