I was on the hunt for a small, family-owned establishment in the city center, specifically to have authentic home-cooked fare. And I found it in Kopi Kopi. The service was impeccable--Rojin and his family were always there to offer advice and answer questions--and the food was delicious. I loved it so much, I made a point to stop by a second time!!
On the second visit, I had Soto Ayam. It's a soup, reminiscent of Pho, but with a distinctly different flavor profile. Chicken-base, with tons of fresh ingredients. On my first visit, with a colleague of mine, we got the Prasmanan Kopi Kopi special, which we split, and which was a feast!
Don't miss out on the teas and special drinks they have. Your palate will be happily tickled by the unusual combinations of flavors.
The fact that I went to Kopi Kopi twice in my week in Den Haag speaks volumes. Don't miss this restaurant when you visit.
