First off, he is extremely fluent in Cantonese (he's from HK) but his Mandarin is also very good. I went on the first visit for fear of miscommunication but I feel she can communicate in Mandarin with him without me. Regarding his bedside manners- he is gentle, soft spoken but also super competent/knowledgeable. I was so impressed slow soothing cadence of voice and thoroughness of explanations. Not just why she got hospitalized, but took the time to review each and individual medication and change the medications he felt necessary. He talked about her followup and was just so caring. He was also camera shy and hesitant to get photos but allowed me to take these photos to share with us online (he wanted to check w practice manager but I told him I'm a regular person on internet giving feedback). Nurse Wen tended to my crying 2 year old with Frozen stickers and gave us 3 to help her soothe. Nurse Chaijuan explained the details of wearing a holter monitor (including the details on the package inserts that most people ignore or don't go over when). The checkout ladies were also very professional and efficient. This place is fairly empty which makes it a much more pleasant experience since Flushing doctors offices can get crowded very quickly. I searched on my health insurance's website for nearby cardiologists. I came across Dr. Chen's contact information. Luckily, I was able to schedule an appointment for today on Monday morning. I walked over to Dr. Chen's office located inside of Prince Center for my 4:00 pm appointment. I arrived 30 minutes early to fill out the paperwork then paid for today's visit with my credit card. I answered all of the nurse practitioner's questions regarding my health. Also, a technician performed an EKG, an echocardiogram, and other ultrasounds. After I met with Dr. Chen, he recommended wearing a 24-hour heart monitor. Lol, I will sacrifice showering for one night. Tomorrow, I will be back to return the heart monitor. Wish me luck!

When I asked about this matter to Dr. Sun's office, I was told that I would have to pay, despite being told initially that this would be free of charge. Furthermore, the secretary denied any involvement in misleading me, nor offered any help. I then petitioned the NY state attorney general, who pursued this matter on my behalf. Through their efforts, I was able to prove that Dr. Sun's office and the insurer did not bill me properly for the services provided. I highly recommend not going to this office. The staff here is unhelpful, unsympathetic, and worst of all unaccountable for their errors.

I found Dr. Sun via ZocDoc, and I'm definitely not disappointed. Further away from Downtown Flushing, Dr. Sun's office is about a 20 minute bus ride away on the Q12 or Q13. The office itself is very modern. The office assistant were very efficient and nice. I have to say it's a very streamline efficient experience getting referrals from them. I think the only weird thing about the front office is the video loop they have on the TV screen with creepy new age Enya's song in the background. The nurses are one of the nicest I have met in the office (comparable to Dr. Quach). Friendly, nice, knowledgeable, enough to make someone who hate doctor visits feel at ease. When I finally met Dr. Sun, he had a treadmill in his office! I guess it's a good time to mention that he's also a cardiologist. Great bedside manner, very concerned, and he took his time to address all my issues and didn't dismiss any of my concerns. He also have several special equipments where he can do ultrasounds on-site. He was also the first doctor to take my blood pressure on my legs in addition to my arm (interesting!). By the time my appointment was over, 2 hours have past. I've never spent that long with a Flushing doctor before. Is this how a real doctor visit suppose to be? Pretty awesome. We were afraid we wouldn't be able to get it done on time, but because Dr. Wei Li had convenient hours on Sunday and both her and her staff were willing to run all the tests necessary in a single day, we were hoping we would get surgery approval on time and we did! Dr. Wei Li not only reviewed the test results as soon as they came out over the next few days, but she also spoke to me twice on the phone to answer my questions and to review the results and next steps. Some doctors nowadays require a Telehealth where you pay to ask follow up questions, but Dr. Li really goes the extra mile. If you need a cardiologist, look no further!

This review is for the Manhattan branch…read more I went to see Dr Kim 3 times. Each time I visited I had to wait for 1.5 hrs before being seen. I realised this was because every time about 5 other patients had the same appointment time because the whole operation is based on processing as many patients as possible and charging for as many visits as possible. Dr Kim was very rude, short, dismissive and hurried. The office was crammed with patients both in the waiting room and the examination rooms. In the middle of the summer the ac was not working. Each test I did took less than 10 minutes and the doctor spent less than 5 minutes with me but I spent a total of 6 hours there. I asked one of the assistants why I couldn't just do all the tests in one visit. He said it was for insurance reasons. I took that to mean that they wanted to charge for as many visits as possible. On my last visit Dr Kim said and I quote my 'arteries are more clogged than all the old women in the waiting room'. Then he looked again and said actually maybe the scans are just blurry. He said I had to come back a 4th time to be scanned again. I did not return and my arteries are fine (I got a 2nd opinion).

Quite honestly, I only got to this location because of another doctor that works in this office that had great ratings on ZocDoc. Moreover, Long Island Jewish hospital has a cardiology center but no appointments and I couldn't wait. So I scheduled an appointment and went to meet the doc. First off, the nurses we're extremely nice upon entering. They took all my information and asked if I needed anything. They soon after placed me in a room and one of the nurses immediately came to run an EKG. They really wasted no time. Dr. Paimony came in shortly after and interrogated me regarding my situation. You can tell by his tone that he was interested and caring about each and every detail. He was very informative and responsive with everything I told him. You can tell he was being genuine and even more so, he wasn't the boring doctor that spoke in monotone and simply asked questions without sharing his thoughts. I was truly impressed. Dr. Paimoney is excellent. He refuses to take chances and helped run all relevant tests to ensure my safety and health and he was very sincere and caring along the way. I'd recommend this cardiology center to anyone who may need a cardiologist. These aren't things you can take lightly and you want to be certain to see a caring doctor, such as Dr. Paimoney.
