Many times they are delayed and I am told they do not have the medication. I was just told I can not get an antibiotic the same day. When I tried to understand their system by questioning the technician, she repleyed in short answers with a very defensive tone. I can understand delays but Im not willing to put up with delays and a rude staff. Walgreens needs to help out their Pharmacists with better support staff.

Despite its $13-14 price tag and over-the-counter status, my insurance has always covered it, yet they insisted otherwise without offering real help. In contrast, when I contacted the Walgreens on E McDowell Rd, the difference was immediate. Although they were out of stock, they explained that their usual supplier no longer carries the product and offered to order it from a new provider. That level of effort and transparency was exactly what I needed. Because of this, I've transferred all my prescriptions to the E McDowell location. They even call to notify you if a prescription will be delayed--something the previous location never did. Their professionalism and customer care are a breath of fresh air. They laughed, pretended they would open the door and completely ignored me until I waited for them to leave the front door BEFORE 10pm. They bought things for themselves at the register to add to it. I watched the kid in the blue debate opening the door and the other kid say no and then sit on his phone. I'm extremely disappointed in CVS and their employees and I will NOT let this one go.
