I ordered a Rancho chico burrito it was unsatisfactory to much plain rice not much chili verde a disappointment for my dinner

I wasn't expecting much as most if not all of the mexican food places I have tried left me with the feeling of never wanting to eat at another mexican place. This was very good food and I gave them the five stars because it is the best mexican I have had in my life. Granted, I don't eat a lot of mexican since I usually don't like it. BUT I would come back to this place. A little more costly than others but good eats!! read more

I live in S Florida with plenty of opportunities for good Mexican food, I came late on a Sunday you would think most everything would be end of the day stuff. This was not the case. From the chips and salsa that were warm home made chips along with the fresh salsa and Mexican slaw. I asked if they made tamales didn't see them on the menu these turned out to be the best I have ever had, fresh moist & meat all the way thru with a great sauce. I ordered the 3 hombres. This came out on a hot plate the rice was moist & the refried beans were perfect both homemade. The dish consisted of pork chunks with green chilies, beef chunks with red chilies & Chile Relano, all perfectly spiced and fresh made. This place is the best Mexican food I have had & certainly the best for miles around, If I lived here I wold be here every week. read more

Visited Rancho Chico for dinner while visiting family in nearby Evans, WA. My son-in-law recommended this place and I'm glad that he did. I'm a native Californian living on the East coast for the past 18 years and really miss good Mexican food and this was great. They were very busy on a Friday night and we were seated quickly. The service was excellent and the waiter was very helpful. I had the Tacos de Carne Asada with rice and beans with a side order of cheese enchiladas. Complimentary chips and salsa with a wide range of ice cold Mexican beers to choose from. The portions were large and tasted wonderful. Our group of 12 found this restaurant when we were in town for a conference. We weren't expecting much from a Mexican restaurant in Washington. They were incredibly accommodating to our large group with no reservations. And then the big reveal.....EXCELLENT food! I am from California where we have authentic Mexican food. But this was better! All 12 of us ordered different items, and we all agreed that it was all delicious! So good, in fact, that we unanimously agreed to come for dinner the following night....and we did. I had the Camarones Mexicano one nite and the enchilada tamale combo the next night. Both excellent. Service was great, price was incredibly reasonable. I'm sorry to be leaving Colville tomorrow because I won't be able to eat at this outstanding restaurant again! read more

Decided I better re review. I was hungry tonite and Mex sounded good. It was a hard call though. Colville has 3 places I consider damn good vittles. This is one of them. Still amazed at the awesome place. Not only do you get chips and salsa to start, you also get a nice cabbage slaw that is very Mex in origin. I had the chicken carnitas. Very tasty and nicely presented with rice and beans. I did get full! The nice little sweet chip w/ whip creme is great! Excellent friendly service. We really like eating here, and have always had a great experience. I usually order Mario's burrito.. it is loaded with veggies, no cheese :), and a yummy sauce! It's delicious! Not familiar with "restaurants" here but since I'm checking on reviews on Yelp I might as well add my two cents... After a family yard sale some years ago we spontaneously and unanimously decided on Mexican. We were seated at an oblong table "family style". Since I was having water, service was slow in refilling. They seem to cater to those who ordered beer, soda etc. After my husband & had enough of our meals, later on our stomachs were making "noise". Omg... Enough said! This and Mavericks are my go to restaurants when we go to colville. I love everything about this place. The customer service...friendly. The food is so yummy, huge portions, and fast. I love the chips and salsa, sometimes I go just to get them to go. The price is great. I love the music playing and the family feel! I wish we had one where I live! My wife and I have eaten here dozens of times and have always gotten great food and friendly service.

Just got back and am very disappointed. We've always received decent service with better then average food. Not what happened tonight. Worst service I've ever had, not once were we checked on and we had to grab our waiter whenever anything was needed. The food was bland and the drinks tasted very watered down. Great food, great customer service, awesome feel. There's neat murals and nice music playing. Don't ever get the lemonade its TERRIBLE. And when they say hot plate they mean HOT PLATE. They WILL burn you. Also if you eat here with children make sure they sit near the wall in the booths because the waiters often walk by with food that is ON FIRE, and I'm always worried I'm gonna witness a kiddo collision with a platter of molten doom. read more

This is an excellent option for Mexican food. We were in town for a week and needed to find some places to eat. Since we are huge Mexican fans we decided to give this place a shot and it did not disappoint. The food was great, the service was good and it was an all around good experience. Reasonably priced.
