One day in Cozumel and one in Playa. It was a great experience. The staff is so professional and accommodating. The prices are very reasonable and competitive. There were no hidden fees and no surprises, and the location is perfect. We had small groups both days. The second day there were only four divers and an instructor, Dana. And that's not even a guarantee, I just think I could. I really enjoyed our first experience scuba diving in Playa Del Carmen. There were 4 of us with the instructor so it was a good size to teach and learn. I didn't feel too nervous. First they take you to a pool about 5-6 feet deep and teach you the basics which was needed for a beginner. It was my fiancé, myself and another older couple from Sweden. After an hour or 2 of practice in the pool, we got a lunch break and came back for the actual dives. We had 2 dives abt 30ish mins each and both were great. The first dive felt like a trial run so it was a little terrifying. The couple and my fiancé felt sick after so they skipped on the second dive and I got to dive with the instructors. So fun! The instructor Caro (I think that's her name) was very knowledgeable and fun. She was very thorough and made me feel comfortable. I loved the second dive because it was just me and the pros. Pretty cool. There wasn't much to see underwater which was kind of a bummer but nonetheless, still a great experience. The worst part for me was walking from the shore to the boat. There were tons of rocks that make it a very painful walk and the current was pretty strong. I recommend investing in some water shoes. Regardless, I had tons of fun and would totally do it again. For a little over $100 dollars, this was a great deal.

For $65, you are provided chairs, Palapa (thatched covering) , unlimited drinks, and three course meal whenever you are ready to eat. The waiter checks on you frequently. Nachi limits occupancy to 100 people but I assure it feels like there is hardly anyone there. So peaceful. My favorite part is the pool with the swim up bar. Service is stellar, food is pretty good, and drinks are ok. If you want to get away from the crowds and just relax on the beach - this is the place.

No washing machine so expect to hand wash your own sheets! The manager Pedro was mostly high and a liar. Warning: do not pay anything outside Airbnb because Cristobal is untrustworthy and you won't have any recourse to get your money back. Other things to note: you can also hear the busy highway five minutes away, expect to wait for an hour, or two or three for tuktuk, collectivo or taxi just to go grocery shopping through a dusty highway where huge semitrucks pass on a daily basis.

Our first trip was during an evening where things were quite lively. Live music was playing from the stage. There was dancing, families everywhere and many street vendors. There are also a number of food court restaurants near the palapas. The ones we visited, all were outstanding and the food was extremely reasonable (ok, cheap), but bring your pesos. My daughter got three huge empanadas for 95 pesos (less than $5.50 US). I got 4 street style pastor tacos for roughly $4.50 US. We also bought esquites both times for $2 for a small cup. Well worth it. On the second visit, it was late afternoon/early evening. The vibe wasn't as festive, but still busy and lively. The HZ buses drop you off nearby and the walk is very short and extremely safe. On our second visit, we walked from Mercado 28 and it was still very safe.

It gets busy we rode the bus like some crazies, it was fun but packed and had ac but no private ride. Tacos, tortas, pizza, turkey legs, marquisette, crepes SnoCones, bags, clothes, art, massage stands. It's a one stop shop- socks, jewelry, kitchen dishes, souvenirs yes! I don't know if you would find a parking spot so I say uber. It starts around sundown and their out there until 11pm at least. It was so hot no winds and lots of people packed in there. Not much seating or benches, tables they had were occupied and people wasn't moving anytime soon. It depends time of year I'm sure as well, but like I said it's more locals here you will see O tourists unless they did their research hahaha
