Love the salsa and chips. Chips were freshly fried and super crispy. The Cheese enchiladas were glorious. Loaded with coby Jack, oozing melted cheeses, and assuming pepper jack and mild cheddar cheeses, Slightly spicy. The enchiladas were covered in red chili sauce. Of course, must ask for a fresh sprinkle of finely diced white onions atop the two enchiladas. Why not? Just thinking about the cheese enchiladas got me wanting to return for another #38 enchilada dinner, add charro beans, please. Subbed out ground beef taco for cheese or bean with extra lettuce. We found ourself passing through Center for work. Came across this place. This is the best Mexican restaurant in town, from what we saw. We enjoyed speaking to the bartender, she was friendly. So, just found out J and I have eaten here before....just not together. I really liked this place. Seemed to be the busy place in Center on a Friday night. Excellent hot sauce, warm too which is not common but very good....my wife's favorite part when we went. I had chicken enchiladas and a beef taco and some Queso with chorizo as an appetizer and all were good. My wife said hers was okay and she did not care for her margarita when we went recently. *DO NOT EAT HERE* This place is absolutely terrible. The queso is all nacho cheese straight from a can. The so called "cheese puff" is a fried tortilla covered with nacho cheese on a bed of lettuce. The "gravy" topping is ranchero sauce that tastes like it is a week old and fermented. My hunting buddy and I, last stopped by on December 30, 2016. He had three Enchiladas and I had Nachos El Carbon, both with rice and beans. Both entrees were made with Fajita meat and were very tasty. They don't have a liquor license but will offer you a free Margarita, well it's not a real one, it's one of those frozen slushy things that some folks pass of as a Margarita, but it was tolerable, quite tasty. Spent less than $30 Bucks including tip for the two of us so I'd say it's a pretty good deal for a Hole-in-the Wall Tex-Mex place. read more
