So, I was a little intimidated coming in with my buddy. What I discovered was that everyone at Urban Tactical is welcoming & friendly. The Range Officers are professional, informative and supportive. I'd particularly like to single out our Range Officer Mike. This experience went pretty well, and the one employee on site did make some effort to assist people for a little bit. Ultimately the company had a good experience, though I wasn't a fan of the actual axes (the grips seemed slippery and the blades were dull) or targets (dull axes would bounce off the areas of the targets that hadn't been hit a few times already) or the relative lack of guidance (multiple times people walked towards their target while the person standing next to them prepared to throw).

We went to the Mini Putt with our grandson last week. l could not believe how poorly maintained…read morethe course and walking areas were in. There was only two holes (11 and 16) that seem to have had a little work. Other than that the course IS DISGUSTING AND DANGEROUS. I tripped a few times on the walks in between the holes and on places where the carpet either was buckled you could not make a put without having to clear debris off of the holes. The Mini Putt should be inspected and SHUTDOWN FOR SAFETY REASONS. I asked who the owners were when we returned our clubs. The person in there said him and his Dad owned it. I said you should be ashamed of the course. He just shrugged his shoulders and basically saying with his body language that he didn't care. I have never run across a business that operates this way. No care for customer safety or the condition of the course. For your own SAFETY, STAY AWAY FROM THE MINI PUTT.

I came with my bf, who has never been to a driving range before. It was exactly as a I remembered it, though with some new social distancing rules and guards. There's an area for mini golf that looked popular with families, couples, and small groups; and there's also areas for their outdoor driving range. Both areas come with putters and drivers to borrow. As noobs, we didn't really know what we were doing, but the staff were friendly and the place has an overall welcoming feeling regardless of your level (though it was slightly intimidating to see the more pro golfers going at it) If you're looking for a fancy-shmancy club, then this probably isn't the place you're looking for. However, if you're looking for a chill, no frills place to hit a few balls and/or spend some time with friends/family, then this may just be your jam ;)

They have a guy (Paul, I think) that also sells and re-grips clubs which is super convenient. I grab a seasonal membership for $20 (single) $40 (Family) and get free passes for their mini putt and a jumbo ball bucket. The range is normally busy any day of the week and they have both grass and artificial turf. Recently signed up for their semi-private lessons with my dad so will update about those services after.

I went there and there was water all over the floor, the roof was leaking and the rain was pouring in. Needless to say lakes of water and the oil from the paint do not go well together creating a very slippery floor. I fell hard on my back after slipping in a puddle. I would recommend that the owners consider spending some money on improving this place or they will face a lawsuit when someone gets hurt... because it's only a matter of time.
