Dr. Leslie was our physician when my husband and I lived in SMA from 2015 -2019. She remained our physician when we sold our SMA home and moved to an old Hacienda outside the city where we lived until the Spring of 2023 and moved back to Texas after I had a stroke. It was Leslie who finally got me on meds that weren't "overpowering" me to the point that I constantly felt dizzy. American doctors made me feel worse than the stroke did. Leslie said they were way too strong for me and instantly changed my prescription. I still use that medicine she first suggested Iuse. Leslie and her Husband have two young adorable children. Her husband was born in Mexico. Leslie is a refreshing physician who makes you never seem that she's hurrying you. She is warm and gracious and before SMA had it's new MAC Hospital , she would come to your home and make house calls. I couldn't believe how wonderful that was. I doubt she is still doing that now that SMA has its very nice new hospital. I have referred Leslie to many of my friends I made in SMA and they are in total agreement with me. When my husband had to have hernia surgery in Queretaro, Dr. Leslie referred us to another young man for that Surgery. We had a huge private room in Star Medico Hospital in Queretaro and I had a comfortable sofa bed where i could stay the night. Leslie stayed in the operating room when my husband's surgery was performed and she would occasionally slip out and come tell me how things were going. We decided to have Steve's surgery in Mexico when we realized the price of the deductible we would have to pay in Texas was the amount the entire surgery and hospital stay in Queretaro would cost us.
