Anyway, someone recommended this salon to me and I haven't looked back. Vilma, the owner, is an excellent colourist and stylist and I've never yet been disappointed. She is also really lovely and the salon has a relaxed, friendly vibe. Stylish rather than trendy I would say, and not trying too hard to be cool like some others do. The prices are very reasonable and there are always great deals on. My two sisters also get their hair done there and one of them lives in Deptford so it must be good for her to travel all that way!

I love my hair every time. It's a really natural shiny blonde (if I do say so myself!). She even made the blonde to brown thing work without the awful murky in-between stage which is pretty impressive! I also get my nails done with TLC Nails and Beauty in the upstairs salon which is great. I never thought my nails could look nice until I went there. Anyway, I can't recommend this place enough, so if you're sick of paying for overpriced chain salons like Headmasters give Shine a try.

I booked my appointment very last minute, and despite her being fully booked, she managed to squeeze me in. I got there, was seen to by an assistant immediately who was given some direction on which shampoo to use in my hair etc. By the time she had finished washing and conditioning my hair (which included a lovely head massage), Sacha was ready to cut my hair. I only wanted a trim and she literally managed to cut my hair and blow dry it in under half an hour. I was really happy with the results though and for £28 for a cut, wash and blow dry - not bad! I will definitely come back again as the service was quick, efficient and friendly. Just what you want from a hairdressers!

Now the bad points which as I perfectionist about my eye brows I would recommend coming here just for a quick tidy up! Mine was slightly over that so it needed shaped and a clean up and well my eyebrows were slightly uneven and one was higher than the other!

I found this incredibly rude and her manner was such that she wanted to shoo me away to continue her conversation. My past experiences have been okay when i've been seen to, otherwise i find the opening hours here very unreliable with vague notices hanging on the door that read "be back in an hour" and not an exact time. I went to Sapna's further down the road which is much more professional and reliable.

It can get a bit pricey, but they do offers at certain times of the year and if you wait for them, it's not bad at all. She was not pulling the hair properly and when I said it is painful, she said now I know! When I told her she left some hair, she said it's too late and when I asked her for scissors, she just handed it to me . My whole skin was left sticky as they don't clean. When I was dressing up, she didn't leave the room and told me I have to rush.. how ill mannered is that...
