Working with…read moreWeather Tite has been a large frustration from the day I signed the contract (which I had to ask for a Weather Tite signed copy 3 times.). They don't even invoice per the terms on the contract/proposal. The shingles were not the color I wanted and as explained to me on the phone as the project manager never gave me a color chart until after the roof was installed. Roofers pulled my fence out of the ground and did not replace it correctly and tried to disguise it with rocks along the bottom. Took 4 days for someone to correct the problem and then the person that came to fix it didn't even bring tools, they had to use mine. Nails, roofing materials and plastic bags from the shingles were not cleaned up. Ridge vent on roof now has hump and what looks like a space between the edge of the vent and the shingles that wasn't there on the old roof or when the new roof was installed in October but is there 3 months later. Should not have to argue with a Weather Tite employee when I am trying to understand why there is this space along the edge and I feel I cannot get a proper explanation. Project Manager is not available until March. Was never notified siding came in, in fact I found out siding was in and called Weather Tite to ask when it could be installed. Siding was delivered and 3 weeks later a crew showed up at 2 pm, looked around and said it was windy so they didn't want to work. Siding supervisor from Weather Tite told me to not ask questions if I wanted the siding installed. Siding crew broke outdoor outlet covers and deck railings. Window glazing strips were put in 3 times, they blew off in the wind and they still on not correct. Corners were not beveled as they should be. Holes in corner pieces of siding were plugged with I don't know what, looked like gum. Trim along top wall was not replaced correctly and facia was shoved up into the edge of the attic space. Siding pieces were cracked on the North end of the house and not replaced until service came out. Siding pieces have fallen off back of garage twice. I may be female but I do know a bit about roofing and siding since I spent years working with Habitat for Humanity. The bright spot in all of this was the service guy Brandon, who was helpful and when questions were asked provided a viable and understandable explanation. Bottom line here, I don't feel as though I could ever recommend Weather Tite as a contractor for roofing, siding, windows etc.

They removed old shingles and stone and replaced with new siding, rebuilt the front porch deck, added stained cedar support columns, installed new deck railing (front and back decks), replaced the front door and window, installed all new soffits and gutters, and repainted the entire house. Customer service and communication were also top notch. If we had a question or concern, someone always responded quickly. The workers on site were courteous and always picked up at the end of each day (moving equipment and supplies out of driveways/walkways and making sure any nails or debris were cleared away). Ghost Canyon also kept us up to date on when to expect each phase of the project to start and finish. If we need any work done in the future, Ghost Canyon Exteriors will be our first choice.

Three months in: I had no permits, no blueprints, no materials, and multiple unfilled promises to show up. There was always an excuse as why work couldn't begin. After obtaining counsel, we legally terminated our contract and asked for a refund. Not only is T2 refusing to return any of my $40K deposit; they are refusing to provide receipts for materials, labor or expenses. Apparently, T2 stands for "terrible thieves". I'm happy to provide proof of all statement made here. 7 days after termination of contract, thank God I reach out to Jeremy at Joat Services LLC. He cut me a great deal, and completed more in 4 days (in the rain) than the entire time we employed T2's services. If I could give a negative rating, I would. Save yourself the headache AND future trips to a lawyer - go with anybody else.

The work came in on estimate and the quality of the work is of the highest standards. The deck's supports are very sturdy and the stairs end on a concrete slab they installed. To say we are pleased with it is an understatement. I can't recommend them enough and we are planning on hiring them for several more projects in the near future.
